  1. YOu could put all the senior players iq together and just about get what Capello's cock knows about football.
  2. HTT makes a good post and I understand where he is coming from. But 'attacking play' as I take he means it is very rarely successful at the highest levels, you only have to witness how careful Brazil are even with their dirth of talent. The biggest issue with England is that they essentially don't understand tempo and timing which is key to success at international level, they tend to get the ball foreward too quick and attack for the sake of it, successful attacking is a lot more about where your player are and where they want to be in the third passing phase rather than getting the ball foreward quickly. England don't understand how to support an attack, how to create space with false runs, how to send it out wide to stretch the back four before bringing it back in....etc..etc.. The problem is that the Pl is too much thunder and guts and space compression whereas international football is all about vision - where the ball will be in 5 passes time. Even the limited style England can offer is bungled in simple terms, how often is Rooney too far away from Heskey when the ball is hopefully launched? Rooney should be looking to offer a run beyond Heskey or up against Heskey depending on him anticipating where the defenders are...He often just stands and watches. England have convinced themselves they can't play the small pitch game, overloading the middle and interchanging with a rotating attacking midfielder, yet they don't have a passer accurate enough to play the big pitch game on two wings? There are moments when you watch Spain or Italy there are suddenly 6 players in postive positions and you have to blink, but it's all rehersed, they know when they can take advantage of an opponet out of position or a tempo failure perhaps after a break in play, they are sensitised to it....
  3. I thought it was a photoshop job. Both real people. The John Terry tranny is a real person, man. There's a bit more Terry in there than Terry would like to admit. Perhaps where all the agression comes from.
  4. It's amazing how diplomatic, sensible and intelligent Capello is in that interview.
  5. Good post mate, but completely wrong.
  6. Him and Terry both Chelsea players. Coincidence? I don't think so.
  7. Lampard has been dogshit. To be fair, Carrick has been dogshit for Man Utd all season too. I'd go for the dogshit who hasn't contributed to the farago that were the first two games.
  8. Chelsea managers- Mourinho, Hiddink, Ancelotti, Terry.
  9. Oh yes please. The failure would be fucking glorious. The delusions of grandeur are Hitleresque.
  10. There is a comment on that link, which reminds us that Terry wanted a massive deal plus a guarantee he would be considered for the managers job at Chelsea. By NEIL ASHTON, 29/08/2009 JOHN TERRY has signed a new five-year contract at Chelsea worth a staggering £40million. The England captain will be paid £160,000 a week at Stamford Bridge until the deal ends when he is 33. With Champions League and Premier League bonuses added, he could easily earn another £10m over the next five years. Terry has also been promised by owner Roman Abramovich that he will be considered for the job as manager when he quits playing. The Chelsea skipper, 28, is now the joint highest paid player in the Premier League, alongside Manchester City winger Robinho. Terry has been in talks with the club over a new deal since City attempted to prise the central defender away. Fuck me look at his comments in this interview: Terry declares: I want to be Chelsea manager 20.09.09 | tribalfootball.com READ MORE NEWS ON: Chelsea, Frank Lampard, John Terry, Jose Mourinho Chelsea captain John Terry has declared he wants to manage the club. "Your playing career goes so quickly and older players have always advised me, ‘Take your badges, take your badges’, which me, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole are looking into,” England captain Terry told the Daily Express. “Depending on what we have to do, I think we go straight to the B licence. We could coach the kids after training and get our badges that way. “I want to go into management after I finish playing, even though it’s a lot of pressure. I would love to be Chelsea manager, and that’s the natural progression. I would want to go straight in at the deep end. With Champions League and Premier League bonuses added, he could easily earn another £10m over the next five years. 11. can you quantify that Dave? Do you mean statistically? I can't be bothered to look it up to be perfectly honest, I just feel far more let down by Gerrard over the years considering what he has done for Liverpool in the same timeframe. Gerrard was worldclass against Germany 5-1. Apart from that neither Gerrard & Lampard have really done anything of note for me. Short memory. Lampard was easily the driving force behind WC 06 qualification. Not to mention his excellent performances in Euro 04. They've both under-performed internationally for a long time.Gerrard has played well sporadically since 2002,and Lampard ,the same since 2005.The player we've really missed has been Hargreaves, who outshone both in 2006. Just about to say that. Coached in Germany he at least understands a little more than knock it up here son!
  12. Totally agree. It would be the right message for future melingerers.
  13. Terry Upson Johnson* *Cole Carrick Barry Gerrard Cole Defoe Rooney *Overlapping. When Jhonson is forward Carrick fills in and same on the other wing.
  14. Just looking at a minute of this shows how much Capello cares and to think of the primadonnas he's having to deal with. Funny the first time he flings his arms out, it kinda scares Pearce who jumps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktiWPHw9b18
  15. If Rio had still been there Terry would have been dropped. No doubts.
  16. But why air it to the media though? What is gained by that? Take your greivances to Capello by all means, argue all fuckin night...But keep it within the team. Why take it to the media? The FA sent him to talk to the media. The major question for me is why didnt Adrian (Boro scum) sitting next him say out or end it. I love Adds linkedin http://uk.linkedin.com/in/adrianbevington Surely all that slippery insiduous mind game stuff wasn't in the script. FA probably told him the press think there is trouble within the team and the manager, go and show support, but he did it all in such a sly way it looked bad on the squad as well as Capello.
  17. Good point. Carvalho is like a chess player compared to Terry.

  19. Top post. Some of them really do carry on like spoilt rich kids. Terry is a nasty vindictive piece of work and no mistake.
  20. Really liking what I see from Chile and Uruguay.
  21. Lot of younger English players don't get into the top sides due to the number of foreigners, therefore they don't learn their trade properly, also our top players have too many intelligent descion making players around them and don't have to take responsability as much as they should. How many door openers does this squad have? The only one is being let go by his club, probably for the inclusion of another non-English player. Rules need changing, Arsenal for instance are a joke, what is the point of having a top coach and a top academy if all the young players are from France and Africa?
  22. Very impressed what Hitzfeld has done with Switzerland. We should get him.
