Both have served the club very well at points of the past few years but they're not the future. I believe every club should have 'senior' players and I could maybe understand them getting a year extension if I thought Bruce was thinking they'll be squad players, start the odd game but more likely come of the bench later in games, be good to have experience heads in the dressing room etc but I honestly don't credit Bruce with enough smarts for that. He'll be thinking first team which is strange cos I don't see them fitting in or being effective in sexy brucie ball, especially in the premiership..... maybe he is planning ahead...... to the championship!

Strange how all these stories that were getting thrown about earlier in the season around how all the players liked bruce etc and training was a hoot have now died away. Can't wait for the 'truth' to come out the worse things get or the nearer the end of the season it gets. Those out of contract or ones getting dicked about like the Longstaff brothers will have shit to say. on a side note.... this guy is really starting to do my head in. I was just about to post something to that effect. Anyone know what week we could start being 'worse off' than we were last season? Wonder, when that time comes, if the skid marks in the press will bring last season in to the conversation as much as they currently do.
