Exactly!!!. Freddy Shepherd for one.

Like I say I don't know what the Taxation system is like in England.
-
I don't know what taxation system is in England but could he claim the loss on his tax bill at the end of the financial year?.
-
They are all signs Dave were being taken over by the Malaysians.
-
Yeah he'll be wearing the latest in turban.
-
Malaysia featuring Qatar? They are all brother Muslims, I wonder if the players will have to pray to Mecca five times a day.
-
I hope this is true, some positive news for once.
-
So long as it's not Fat Freddy then I'm a happy man.
-
Where have I heard that before, that's what everybody was saying when Ashley was taking over.
-
I hope that isn't Malay Dollars.

Isn't it about time we locked this thread, after all the parasite isn't with us anymore and good riddance.

Don't let the door smack your arse on your way out.

At least there was some logic behind all of FS's decisions. Logic!!! what logic!. Other to cater to is own self importance.

Good point. Do we really want the alternative if they're trying to get the club for less than 60% of the asking price? On the other hand that might be all Shepherd's group has. I'd be more worried if anyone paid anywhere near the asking price for the simple reason that they don't have to. Ashley has created a fire sale and it's his own money he's burning. f***ing idiot! Ashley not you. I really can't see Ashley writing off that 100 million especially in this sort of economic climate I bet who ever takes the club on will have to pay back Ashley, probably why they offered so low a price for the club.

Not defending by any means Shepherd buying players behind the manager's backs at the time, however he wouldn't dare do that to Shearer. Fair point, but what happens when he sacks Shearer? He'll probably see himself as the only Geordie icon left to manage the club and appoint himself I wonder what the odd are on Shepherd appointing Keegan after sacking Shearer? If that ever happened we would be the laughing stock of the football world. Never mind let's all laugh at Sunderland, let's laugh at Newcastle United.

Not defending by any means Shepherd buying players behind the manager's backs at the time, however he wouldn't dare do that to Shearer. What makes you so confident he won't do that, he's done it before and he'll do it again whether it's Shearer in charge or not. His ego is to big if he thinks he can make a trophy signing whether Shearer wants him or not, he'll do it!.
-
That may be so to a point but he spent fuck all when Sir Bobby was Manager, only decent manager that should have got funds for players even Shearer himself complained at the time we needed to spend money.
-
I can't believe people are happy about this, it's because of this "Fat Parasitic Cunt" we are in this shit in the first place with his incompentent signings of Managers. Everybody is complaining about Keegan being overiden about signings from Ashley and Co, The Fat Cunt was doing it to all his Managers "Owen as an example", and if you think he won't do it to Shearer then you are living in cuckoo land his fat ego will overide Shearer if he thinks he can make a super signing, whether Shearer wants him or not.
-
The trouble with Luque he was done for when Roeder took charge and I think that came with Shearers blessing I just got the feeling Shearer and Roeder didn't think much of him.
-
Good riddance to the cunt, bigger waste of space than Luque was, at least Luque was cheaper.
-
At last!!. Finally something positive is happening.

I was all for Shearer at the back end of last season for the simple fact he was the only man who could put pressure on MA to start running the club properly rather than anything to do with his managerial ability. Now Ashley is selling up he's pretty redundant but it's clear he's going to be the first choice of the majority of fans "becoz its SHEERAAA!" I don't buy into any of this s**** about him knowing what the club needs/fans want. Frankly the whole 'Geordie Nation' guff wore really thin towards the end of Shepherd's time here so the idea Shearer is the only man for the job is complete bollocks. If i'm totally honest i'd much prefer we took a chance on an upcoming manager with a few years experience under his belt rather than someone with 8 games but i'm resigned to getting Shearer. There are some plus points, if he does turn out to be good the feeling around the club will be fantastic despite the fact we're in the Championship and if he's a failure then at least we know the answer to the Shearer question. He'll not be hanging around like Banquo's Ghost whenever we sack a manager. Exactly what I think. I wouldn't personally pick him but might as well get it out of the way now.... Same here!, I'm resigned to him taking over,so now we should find out if he can manage or not and if he can't, then we can finally move on.

it was awful playing in the championsleague. It was awful watching Souness's and Allardyce's teams do you really think he would appoint them again? Maybe not them but certainly some one else of that caliber, he can't help himself. Big names that's his problem, he loves a name far to much even if it's the wrong time, wrong price, wrong person. Exactly!!.
