  1. Liverpool almost certainly up for a comedy award this year. Surely Ashley has been largely vindicated, now that you're within one point of CL qualification? Same will apply to FSG if they do a good job after booting Kenny back upstairs. They should try and get Rafa back. He'd do a much better job and would minimise any fan backlash for getting shot of Kenny. Yeah. It probably wasn't so smart to have him take over from Hodgson. What is it with you lot and Rafa? http://assets.liverpoolfc.tv/uploads/270205-rafa_350_01_4b22645835398448373224.jpg

  3. Piss. Still have to go with Barca, tbh. I can't stand any of the other sides still in it.
  4. Paisley's not the only manager to have won three, is he?

  6. Not for long. I hope absolutely everything goes to the wire for them.
  7. You'd favour either CFC or Spurs on paper, but we've a good record against sides higher up the table, and they've both got bigger fish to fry. Both are fighting for the CL spots and Chelsea are still after this year's trophy. Whatever happens tomorrow, we have much more time to rest important players and prepare for the final. I'd love to win the FA Cup, of course, but if we finished the season with both domestic cups, I think I'd still have very mixed feelings. Theoretically, only whoever wins the league, and Chelsea if they win the CL, will have had a more successful campaign, but I wouldn't be happy with 7-12 in the league.
  8. Europa League all round! Off to pebbledash the porcelain now.
  9. He's been a lot better than usual. You must have low expectations, he has been utterly shit, goal apart. I do. I look at it this way: if I go into the game expecting Carroll to lope drunkenly into the goalpost and knock himself out in the first minute, the only way is up.
  10. He's been a lot better than usual.
  11. I sincerely hope that's that. I'm absolutely busting for a shit.
  12. I'm with brummie on this one. The owners' job, especially if they don't have a lifetime of football experience behind them, is to bring in people who know what they're doing and let them get on with it. Every man and his dog knew that £35m was too much for Carroll. Fenway have said that all they cared about was bringing in a replacement for Torres, and that the cost was passed onto Chelsea in Torres's transfer fee. Still a lot of money down the drain, but I can imagine Torres would have gone for £35m if Ashley had asked for £20m.
  13. Running a chain of sports shops is closer to running a football club than running a baseball club is?
  14. He was never going to go for just one or two years.
  15. Bad news for Schalke that is Fingers crossed that he takes his cunt interpreter with him.
  16. I would cream my pants if Rafa came back. And the pants of everyone down my street.
  17. But without Winslet's tits.
  18. The UEFA rankings would agree.
  19. Interesting article at the Guardian. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/apr/12/hillsborough-battle-orgreave The police who told a pack of lies about Hillsborough were the same ones who fabricated a load of shite about the miners a few years previously.
  20. I was sent to distract you while my mates steal your car.
  21. I've stopped naming my devices after Liverpool players if that helps.
  22. Didn't mean you, you massive spanner Stopped clocks and all that...
