They don't look particulary strong in the middle. Kasami should be a good player to watch, heard lots about him. But I can see Cabaye-Tioté bossing Murphy and Sidwell.

Right side is cause for concern, no doubt. Simpsons improvement was largely down to Barton helping him out. Obertan probably won't offer any of that.

Barton's passing didn't do any wonders for him last season. Neither did José's.

I want to see: Krul - Simpson, Coloccini, Taylor, Taylor - Marveaux, Cabaye, Tioté, Jonas - Obertan, Best Probably won't be any Marveaux or Best in there, I think Shola and Gosling will start.

I just can't see us signing two players within the next few days. Not the way we seem to be negotiating every single deal.

This whole "it's my job to get the board to get them over the line" is worrying. I think he's facing a battle when trying to get them to spend anything at all.
