  1. Hasn't worked since Chelsea tbh, quite clearly not his game. Pardew thinks that just because he's big and quick, that's enough to do a job up front. It's football from the dark ages. Yep, hoof and flick. Totally not what i see Sissoko is for. Our lack of movement isn't helping either, like you said in the match thread he gets the ball and everyone just runs away from him so he just ends up running full pelt into a defender. It bizarre they way we run away from the player on the ball, it takes away one two's, it stops us pulling their CB's out. It's just so poor, i just sit there shaking my head all the time. It's so obvious we're trying to wing our attacking play, it goes from one extreme to another too.. there's times where our players are standing on each others toes when in possession in like one corner of the pitch so we just end up hoofing it to cisse. It's embarrassing and i find myself in envy of teams like Southampton.

This Europe excuse is getting out of hand like, not on here but I've got 606 on at the moment and a Newcastle fan was on complaining about pardews negativity etc and the host was basically saying it was harsh because of our European run and injuries, it's like a default get out clause if someone is having a bad season, being in Europe should inspire our manager and players to play better and achieve greater things, not be a fucking hindrance and surround the club in negativity.

Liverpool last season? Wigan this season for sure. I'm not sure about wigan man, I'm sure they were actually out playing us at times with 10 men.

Genuine question, but have we ever dominated a game under him? I can't think of any.. maybe against stoke last year?
  6. Defensive is one way to put it.. we created nothing second half and basically defended for the whole 2nd half, we conceded a goal so he brought on shola..

I'm slightly worried we could get absolutely embarrassed by liverpool..

Had to go find his interview on the bbc.. my god he actually blames the pitch for us drawing Aye.. cause that really stops our hoof ball like. Manages to squeeze in Thursday again, without actually saying it, basically saying that he should be let off with the loss v Sunderland because of the performance we put in against benfica.. I must of missed this performance? And the good old injuries excuse reared it's head again n all.

I'm sure we overate them a tad, but that shouldn't stop them doing the basics right as a team, our attacking play has to be up there as the worst in the league.

Please tell me that pitch reference isn't real..

It's happening all over again, we're relying on other teams, ie wigan in this case making a mess of their own survival in order for us to survive cause I honestly can't see where our next win is coming under this clown. Our entire attacking play consists of, pass between our cb's, play a long chip to cisse in behind in the hope he gets a touch, repeat. We start loosing, bring on shola, jonas to left back. We'd never score a goal like west brom's first this season like.. that kind of pass and move stuff is way over pardews head.
  12. I couldn't help but laugh when sissoko had the ball and both cisse and shola just sprinted as fast as they could away from him so he then basically just booted the ball out for a goal kick
  13. Match day honestly looks like the first time some of these players have touched a football all week/passed to a team mate. It's seriously embarrassing and it totally lies at the managers door.
  14. It's got to the point where it doesn't matter who plays as the manager has shown complete inability to get our team to play as a cohesive unit. I miss the days of blind faith going into games where you always had that feeling we could win no matter who we were playing, I find myself expecting to loose most weekends these days. For the record though I hope he proves me wrong and we win.. but I just don't see it.

We looked just as s*** playing in on the deck today. If anything, the option to play effective long ball may have won us the game. Sadly we have no real outlet for it. And with Tiote as the deepest midfielder frankly I think hoofball would be less dangerous. Mainly because of how deep we were, in any case hoofball is out of the question when Cisse is your centre forward. I just wish you'd stop trying to imply we have this really talented, technical midfield. Our lot consistently struggle to keep the ball under and pressure and generally create not a bastarding thing. Yet last season they were able to form some parts. Without ever truly controlling games or creating lots of chances. Surely that's down to the manager not coaching a positive style into the team, ie on the training ground having our players pass and move, supporting each other when another team mate has the ball and playing triangles round the opposition? I mean not one of our players ever do any of this, no-one ever has any options on the ball apart from sideways or back to our defence.

I can see why people want stability especially when we are this close to relegation again with the mess we had last time we went down, but I think stability only works mind if you have the right manager at the helm. You have to see clear signs of improvement within the team, how they play in both defence and in attack etc. For example imo villa have improved recently, they always seem to play some decent football but are also now managing to get some points to go along with that, I'm aware they still can't defend very well though. This is the complete opposite with us, we show no signs of improving how we play, our defending is actually getting worse and our new signings are getting worse by the minute too. Basically Pardew isn't the man to lead us to stability and in reality I'd probably give lambert more time if he was here instead. (not that I want him as our manager, I'm just using him as example).

I want to kick this man in his testicles. I think 90% of Newcastle fans will join you, he really doesn't get it if he still thinks that working on the team shape and making sure we're solid is good enough. We can defend all day long, but if we can't create fuck all then we'll loose because no team can constantly keep clean sheets game after game.

To be fair they're probably more tired from spending that first half against benfica giving up possession and chasing shadows than we would of been if we'd of gone for it. He can only blame himself for this mess, not that he will.

Does he not get that we'd not have to spend all these days preparing if we had an actual game plan ourselves that made the opposition worry about us?
  20. Can see this game being a bit dull as west brom are basically playing out the season now, but we'll probably loose anyways. I'm sure i used to be positive going into the next game, even after a loss.

He said to Mick Lowes that some of our players were knackered after Thursday and Lowes said we had 5 players in the team who hadn't played, Pardew said the 5 weren't up to speed. I don't even know what to say to this.. he is absolutely clueless, he actually makes me want to hate him (like steve kean when he was at blackburn and was deluded as fuck).

Organised ffs.. what about our inability to actually play football alan?

There was one point where he was in the back 4, tiote was on the wing and sunderland just stood in a line across the midfield and didn't have to move as we couldn't go anywhere but punt it long, that alone tells you we have no idea what the hell we are doing when in possession..

I was going to say keep him till the summer, before today and then sack him but we play such shit football, create fuck all and defend like a conference side, we're going to struggle to pick up any more points this season. He has to go now, it's just getting embarrassing now, it's so obvious our squad doesn't practice playing as a team in training, it's like they've just met each other, week in week out.
  25. We must be the only team in the league who have no idea what to do when we have the ball. I mean we concede and our managers only solution is to chuck on shola.
