I'd love to see us play that sort of football one day, was class.
-
The game is this Friday night which is a bit random..
-
Villa have gone the pardew route and just chuck players on so they all look like they have no idea where they should be..
-
They seem to think we will sign a pre contract with him then try and buy him now for a small fee.
-
Be interesting to see if Bradford now attack or still try and sit deep and hold out.
-
He's one of the worst players I've seen play for us in years. And he regularly starts or us. On the right wing. Your right hand side reminds me of ours without Ben Arfa, do you have another fullback and push Coleman further up? I assume mirallas will play there when fully fit?
-
Will be great experience for him.. Now if only we can get some our other youngsters out on loan.
-
"The club has became a french club, the official language is french and they hope to play in Ligue 1 soon." Hey we want a trophy, I'll take a ligue 1 title

Does Naismith actually do anything?

First time ill be rooting for Everton

Not the case at all in the first half yesterday, or in periods during the last few games. We've had periods of terrible play as well obviously. First half v reading was better yes but even in the previous games when cabaye was missing we'd pass around a bit with no movement and just end up passing back to krul to hoof it. It's quite obvious we have no style implemented in our team in which to attack with due to when we miss one or two players we look awful at it.

I just watched the replay of espn press pack from yesterday and even they notice we haven't a clue what were doing with the ball.. The guy said he doesn't get what we try and do with the ball, we have no style, our players look lost and what we do play doesn't suit them.. Now either he reads here or it's nice to see that some forms of the media can see through pardrews excuses. Actually the picked up on that too saying his time is running out cause he's run out of excuses now.

Whenever I get to another game (will probably be awhile ) I'm going to have to eat at Greggs because of this place One of the first things I did when I was over earlier in the season.
-
If caulkins tweets are that of the club, we'll be in the championship next season.
-
Yeah were awful fans for wanting to stay in the league
-
He doesn't have a clue how to change a game in our favour, all his subs always wreck our shape, especially the midfield.
-
Spurs have scored 9 times from set pieces this season..

I think he had his sub pre planned and stuck with it, regardless of what was happening on the pitch. Would not surprise me in the slightest gimp. He had made his mind up well in advance that Marv would be replaced by Perch despite us playing well/decent and running the game. The nob then had to take Cabaye off due to a slight knock and his lack of playing time due to a long term injury. He was going to try and sit on a 1 -0 lead with more then 20 minutes on the clock. There are teams in the world who can do that. Never happens to be an English team (in the CL for example, when Man Utd tried it sometimes) or for England. Teams like Inter under Mourinho, I suppose they could have defended a 1-0 lead for hours. Italy of course. We're not a team like that and it's good because normally we should play better football in order to win instead of just defending a 1-0 lead. Pardew has to get that. He thinks we are, it worked a little last season in certain games, reading at home? christ man Swansea away.. We won with some nice goals but my god, we basically spent 85 minutes defending. Tactically Pardew played that one perfectly. The problem is when teams change it up or do something we weren't expecting, like try to score goals. Hmm maybe it was a bad example though I still think we gave them too much respect. Blackburn away is maybe a better one? I remember them battering us the whole game yet some how we won

Thinking back to the game, would cabaye of tried that overhead if he was injured?
-
On obertan, we've all seen his only decent form if you could call it that was on the left, everyone knows this so he brings him on and plays him on the right.. It's like he sees us doing well, ah can't have that..
-
As mentioned in another thread, but do you reckon pardew told the players at ft they were the ones being booed not him?
-
Motd avoid the Marv n cabaye subs..
