Is there anyone left in the whole world who still thinks that: 1) There isn't an inherent passing and moving style with our 4-2-3-1? 2) The players have been playing rigid long ball because that's all they can do or that's what they want to do?

Arsenal 7 - 3 Newcastle United - 29/12/12 - post-match reaction from page 55

Lets hope he's learned his lesson, he didn't last season. -
Said 'why?' when she said she had to ask about Ferguson. Said 'I don't care' when she asked if he thought it would wind the players up.

If I was a Man U fan I'd fucking love Newcastle United like, given the history between the two.

Lives in cullercoats i think, quite often on the beach with the family.

+ Very well put across, that, fair play Pards Manager is asked a question in a press conference, answers it fairly. "Needs to learn to shut his mouth!" Who's said that in relation to those comments? No-one? Sorry does it have to be EXACT words? Oh was it him? Go for your life.

He does have a leg to stand on, he was punished for his offence.

Another Man United fand here, and seething myself after seeing your snivelling post pixel. You don't speak for most other United fans so apologize by all means but don't make up rubbish like all Man United fans aren't with Fergie on this. If you care to go onto Red Issue (Man United forum) for example you'll see most fans on there are applauding Fergie for giving it back to Pardew after his hypoctrical comments about referees. I think the point Fergie was making was that if it was a manager of a different club with a smaller profile (Newcastle, Sunderland or whoever) then there wouldn't be all the national mock outrage and days and days of talking hypocritical s**** about it on the radio, in the papers etc. You're not disappointed that your 70-odd year old manager isn't big enough to use more respectful language than "wee club in the North East" about a proper football club with good fans like ourselves? Fair enough. Adds up with my view of a lot of Man Utd fans tbh, that they're essentially arrogant tossers not worth getting in a conversation with. Am I disappointed in his press conference? No, not at all. I found it amusing in the knowledge that it would wind you all up. I'm happy that he is sticking up for himself after a couple of days of over the top United/Fergie bashing in the press. Pardew had no need to stick his size 9's into it in the first place really and Fergie is obviously not happy about that, it is over the top having a pop at your whole club but I found it funny rather than disappointing. If it was someone calling Sunderland a small club you'd all be pissing yourselves. I was disappointed in his rant at the match though. Having said that while at the game it appeared to us in the Stretford End that the goal had been disallowed and then the ref changed his mind after your players had a go at the linesman. I honestly believe the goal should never have been given but than I guess I have my red tinted specs on. Pardew regularly says stupid things but he said absolutely nothing wrong in this instance. The Sunderland thing is smoke and mirrors, of course we'd be laughing, that doesn't mean it wouldn't be disrespectful.

The media coverage is sort of irrelevant. Pardew had his discretion, he was punished for it, Ferguson won't be, that's the point. The FA are to blame here. Ferguson following it up with disrespectful comments only strengthens the position that he acts that way on the touchline out of a lack of respect and morals.

Hi Lee, you're very stupid.

I think we probably will sign someone at some point like.
-
that's a great name

I'd be inclined to believe a rumour about a young player in the French league who's out of favour at this club, to be honest. Especially with all the uncertainty surrounding Ba. Makes sense to me.
-
At worst it's greed, at best poor decision making. Funnily enough I think Drogba suffered from it too at times, but he obviously had more to his game to make up for it. Namely that he had the most assists in the PL 2 years running. Fair do's, I probably noticed the shooting from distance when he had other options more though, because when most things a players does are great, you notice the shit bits.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20857613 That's it? Ferguson's bang out of order, again.
-
What did Pardew actually say? It's completely passed me by.
-
Well, you know Pardew will be asked about this at some stage... and we all know how voluble Pardew is at answering questions which aren't asked of him, imagine how long he'll go on about one that is! 'Yes, Demba Ba's release clause is active this window' ?
-
In his pre-match pressed this morning. Pardew's "criticism" was that he said he thought Dean might rue not being stricter in hindsight with Ferguson's harassing of officials. When ferguson was asked a similar question, he went mad Seems a bit over the top from Ferguson to be honest, I think we pissed him off mightily last season and he's been waiting for an excuse to stick the boot in.
-
I was expecting him to get a half decent reception at the Bobby concert, I doubt he'll even make the effort to go to it now
-
Are those quotes real? I wasn't even aware that Pardew had criticised Ferguson?
-
He's in a stressful job so you sort of half forgive him for going on like a bellend. I've seen you (not just you like) kick off calling other posters pricks over things said on a football forum ffs He's supposed to be a role model. Ahh yeah, that new role model contract he just signed?

Clever managers will make sure Simpson is our only out ball, Jol did it to great effect.
