Howay man, no need for that.

Both are 100% spot on the ONLY thing I can say in Pards favour is it must be so hard when he has a weak squad and no real belief that he would get reinforcements should he out either Ba or Cisse. Keeping his top players happy has to be a priority, other managers don't have to worry as much about it. I understand why Pardew's pandering to Ba, it's because he's concerned that he won't be replaced properly. He still shouldn't be doing it though, the team performance should always come first.

I would never argue we haven't underperformed and that Pardew couldn't have done more. I just think there are other factors that haven't helped but the general grumble seems to be Pardew's tactics or Ba being a greedy cunt who has the audacity to demand he plays in his natural position are the only things that have hindered us. No post can ever be a catch all state of affairs though, you're asking for too much. Personally I think the managers tactics and approach to the game are the number one influence on the fortunes of any team, and I'd be interested to hear an argument stating otherwise. We've been bad this season, really bad, after 18 games that's the managers fault IMO, and the Ba issue is part of it.

Ok, I wasn't 100% accurate when I said we started the season with everyone fit, we were missing one on the first day of the season. Moving on..... ...I agree that our success last season was based on being defensively solid and relying on one of our front players nicking a goal, it's something that has been well discussed on here. You'll see posts from me after 7, 8, 9 games in saying I expected our results to pick up when we had players returning. It hasn't happened. We're 18 games into the season and we've probably seen one good performance, at the SOS. Regardless of who has or hasn't been available that's an alarming state of affairs, particularly when you factor in the reasons we looked poor at times last year. They're exactly the same reasons we've been poor this season, negative, rigid football designed not to concede. There's a pattern not just emerging but now well established, we've seen the football Pardew wants to play, we know what he believes in. I just hope for our sake that he gets some players that suit his game.

I don't see anything in that list that suggests we couldn't have attempted to start this season where we left off the last, by playing a bit of football. The negative approach and the poor performances are the one constant in a changing line up.

If he's watching it he'll not be thinking about how Man U scored.
-
That's fair enough Mick but you've not taken the North Sea into account, or death.

We started the season with everyone fit. We played a rigid 4-4-2 week after week and looked shocking the vast majority of the time. We got the results we deserved and the players lost confidence, then we got some injuries to compound that effect. We are where we are because of the way Pardew approached this season.

Was much better against QPR i thought, first game for a while he hasnt done plenty of really infuriating things.
-
Personally I'm not annoyed at him, the situation is Pardews fault.
-
This happened last season and didn't make any difference to the way Pardew started this one.
-
He benefitted hugely from replacing Jonas, Obertan was ok, he kicked the ball towards the box and didn't give it away easily because he was only on the pitch for 15 mins.
-
I don't like seeing him get stick at the match either, it's the same situation as Obertan last season though, the idiot in charge won't drop him. He takes months to see what we see in 2 games.
-
Shit, there's two players that should be starting ahead of him and one of them's Obertan. Awful awful awful.
-
I think there was, slightly. I didn't see it mate, we look less like a team with every game. We created nothing but the chance for the goal in 90 mins at home to QPR. Even the goal was just bad defending as Shola was suddenly all alone. The evidence against Pardew is mounting up, this Jonas thing is beyond belief.
-
That was utterly fucking dreadful, no improvement at all.

Two very poor teams cancelling each other out. Looks an awful lot like 0-0 unless we get lucky. -

I didn't say anything about believing what he says, he talks complete shit and that's well established. He just needs to shut the fuck up. -

Alan Gordon Pardew can fuck the fuck off even suggesting that Shola might be a better option than Cisse. Sackless twat. -
Carroll was dog shit at SJP for West Ham, absolutely do not want.
