I’m very ambivalent about pre match music. I’d probably go with a couple of build up tunes and then let the crowd do it. Post match, particularly when we win, leave the music off and let the crowd congratulate/appreciate/support the team. He’s a typical shite wedding DJ, thinks it’s all about him.

I see this as well and have brought it up previously. He’s a great shot stopper but the teams who win things regularly have keepers who are great shot stoppers and great footballers, too. I don’t think that’s controversial. I’m surprised that some are so shocked at the suggestion given it was broadly agreed that we didn’t need to upgrade on Dubravka, and then when Pope joined it was self-evidently the correct decision. The same will happen when Pope is upgraded IMO.

That’s a fair point. However it’s more geared towards the business end of the season. It’s not a massive massive surprise that we’re challenging for top four is my point, given our previous form.

Personally think putting a time limit on VAR is a terrible idea as it just adds pressure and increases the likelihood of more mistakes. He never had control of the game though, agreed there, he was pathetic.

More likely we need to acknowledge that ‘clear and obvious’ doesn’t mean ‘clear and obvious in one replay’. Clarity increases with more information and in this case more angles = more information.
