I’m usually very confident and tend to predict we’ll win, on Sunday I was hopeful of a win but expecting defeat. I can honestly say the only period of anxiety for me was half-time as I expected 45 mins of backs to the wall. While the actual game was happening, particularly after that first 5 mins, I was pretty confident we were going to do it, TBH, even after they scored. They were never in it, we battered them.

2 years ago I was offered a ticket for the league cup final and turned it down because I wanted to be with my boy when we win something. Today was one of the greatest experiences of my life watching that with him. He burst into tears at full time and we just cuddled for about a minute. That’s about as good as it gets to be honest lads.
