  1. Who's he? Rosicky? Barazite is Dutch, was on loan last season at Derby, made quite a few appearances, don't believe he will make it at Arsenal personally. Saw him playing a game for Derby last year and he looked shit hot. Saw another a few weeks later and was anonymous.
  2. On one hand it's a good deal but in today's ridiculous market, it isn't really. £15m + Richards may change things. I'm not one to think Lescott won't leave just because he seems to like it here, money ultimately speaks. But, I honestly don't think anything will happen unless the deal I've just mentioned is offered, or an equivalent, at the very minimum. Also; bear in mind "another £15m to blow" = most of our transfer budget. We don't already have £25m or owt. Onouha is better than Richards. A bit more cash than £15m plus Onouha would do me.
  3. but Lescott (and everyone else they've signed this summer) wouldn't be going there purely for money? Right...
  4. Knight is off to Bolton. Distin is signing today apparently, to replace Laursen, and I suspect someone like Onuoha won't want to be nominal fourth choice CB, he'll go somewhere he'll get more games. Onouha is arguably better than any of Distin/Davies/Cuellar imo. He was easily one of City's best players when he got a run of games at centre half in the second half of the season. Impressive, no nonsense-style centre half. The type I could see doing well alongside Curtis Davies actually. No doubt he will get lost amongst the big money buys at City though before going elsewhere and doing great.
  5. Why match it when our original offer was shaken on? I don't want the club giving in to stupid demands from shitehawks like Kevin McCabe and Sheffield United.

    Man City

Agreed. I don't think Liverpool will finish any lower than 3rd, probably higher in fact, and that's coming from a blue. Really don't know what to make of City yet. They obviously still need to sort out the defence and they could end up being really unbalanced in midfield and attack by trying to fit all of the 'names' into the starting XI. Or it could all click and they'll play Champions League football the following season. A lot of it will depend on whether Hughes has the balls to make big decisions and whether he can handle the egos. He struggled to do it last year with the likes of Elano & Richards so is he going to be able to do it when he's got multiple players with a higher profile than that?
  7. Why are they being dicks? Refusing a smaller bid? They agreed a fee with us, but since Spurs came sniffing about, they've suddenly pulled out and are refusing to let Naughton speak to us, even though it's where he wants to go. You lot should simply match our bid then. Isn't like 500k or a mill we're talking about here?. If you really want him, you'd match our bid. Spurs have offered £5m cash plus a 20% sell on. Ridiculous way to do business when a £4m plus incentives offer had been agreed with another club. Offering stupid money to try and get a player who doesn't even want to join you? Great transfer policy. I'd like us to sign Naughton but if his club and agents push him to Spurs for the extra cash then I'm sure we'll find another decent player. I'd rather not see the club give in to daft demands when a deal is reneged on at the last minute. Sorry but where is this from?. I don't believe Everton itk's as much as i don't believe the spurs ones. If he doesn't want to join then he'll reject us. Sorry again i'll ask, how do you know the exact figure and sell on %?. The figures are from papers and "ITKs". Maybe not info that is 100% accurate but even common sense tells you that he wants to come here, otherwise Spurs would have just matched the bid and let the player choose instead of having to try and blow us out of the water financially.

  9. I've never liked Sheff Utd. Their fans are cunts. Always quite liked Wednesday as well.
  10. Who out of naughton and Walker is the rb at Sheffield United?. I remember it as Naughton playing as the right back and Walker lb, but all these reports is confusing the hell out of me. Naughton is the right back. We don't need a left back with Baines settled in now which is why we aren't after Walker.
  11. lol at Spurs trying to gazump us for Naughton. What a terrible way to do business, cowboy stuff.
  12. Aside from being a dirty bastard with some of his tackles Cattermole is a decent player with the potential to get a lot better. I don't see what all the mocking is about?
  13. Looks like that Robert guy that played for Portsmouth.
  14. Pretty harsh. NRC isn't the best but he certainly isn't the worst either. In a midfield alongside Cahill, Pienaar, Arteta and Fellaini he would be alright I think. The others would make up for his lack of technical ability and he would add a hell of a lot of aggression and drive. The guy does a lot of hard work in midfield. I think he would certainly be an upgrade on playing Phil Neville in midfield. Neville had a very good season in midfield last year tbf. I used to hate him in midfield and think he should be played as a right back only but he came good last season and made an important contribution. I would argue that Reo-Coker doesn't have as much nous or discipline for playing the holding role actually. I'd rather not sign NRC personally, but if we do then I can see why Moyes might think he could get something more out of him. There were far less raw attributes there with Lee Carsley but Moyes turned him into a solid holding player after previously giving Claus Thomsen a run for his money as worst EFC midfielder of the last 15 years.
  15. Ball, Hoefkens, Pamarot, Rocha, Volz & Zhi would all be good players for you next season imo. The likes of Lita and Camara up front might be worth a gamble as well, good to come on from the bench at least.
  16. and they want daniel fox!!! ive loaded the gun..... I don't know why we ever let him go instead of just loaning him out.
  17. http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news?slug=goal_hull_city_boss&prov=goal&type=lgns Deluded nob. He actually almost signed for us before United came in by all accounts, Hull were never in the running.
  18. Just you wait til we sign Pennant on a free as well. That'll really get them.
  19. I got told we'd offered him a 2 year deal the other week. It made the papers at the weekend as well. I'd rather not sign him myself, think he's finished. Jo was supposedly at the training ground today and coming back on loan. He's another one we could do without.
  20. To be fair they'd probably be charged the same price for a young talent as they would Lucio as people know they have money. Might as well build a cracking team then work on the youth academy, I mean haven't they signed some young guys already ? I seem to remember Sky reporting them getting one from Hamburg? Or was that Everton. That was us. Can't believe those pictures of that preening gobshite Ronaldo on what might as well be a catwalk btw. That's not football.
  21. I think Ferdinand needs an old head at the back with him if he's ever going to come good. I doubt the Paraguayan guy from the Mexican league is coming in as a starter. It will probably be a Dunne & Ferdinand partnership which might work well. They'll have to play a deep line though otherwise Dunne will just get raped for pace.
  22. What an idiot. Surely most of the good teams in England & Spain would have taken him.
  23. I don't rate Valencia that much. He's good but nothing special. Mancs better hope he isn't Ronaldo's replacement
  24. Glad Irvine turned them down. Would be nice to see Preston finally get further than the play offs.
