Surely it's best for you if Chelsea make the final Certainly is, so I want them to win tonight. Would otherwise have wanted Barca to win the whole thing.

Which was the last team that stayed up with 34 points? This is a misconception, you can't look at other team's fixtures and hope they lose. They could be facing a team of juniors if the opposition has nothing to play for. What sort of team will FA cup finalists Everton put out against the mackems on Saturday for example? If we don't take the points we need we won't stay up. I don't think we'll put out a weakened team (well, apart from having 3 of your best players injured but that's not the managers choice!). He might drop Saha for Vaughan and I would expect Cahill to come back in for one of the midfielders. I do worry about the performance we'll get out of them though. The City game was very much a case of after the Lord Mayor's show and we go to Sunderland with nothing much to play for while it's a massive game for them with the crowd behind them. I'm not as confident as I normally would be playing Sunderland.

The article I read said he was a dealer. Move in those circles and this is what happens.

That Boro one is fit, the others are dogs. Especially the Wigan one who looks like Droopy Dawg's missus. Fanzone is bad enough with men though so I imagine this will be terrible. Have they learned nothing from MOTD?
-
And goalkeeping. Possibly the highest amount of defensive and goalkeeping mistakes I've seen in one match. It was ridiculous, Arsenal's back five were especially bad. Good entertainment but never a classic.

He went to the semi-final on Sunday as a fan.

ro be fair Xisco has started 3 and scored 1. I could name 20 strikers in the league who make him look like Van Nistelrooy I agree it's not entirely his fault he hasn't impressed because he hasn't been given much of a chance on the pitch. However, he must be doing something wrong in training to have the likes of Ameobi preferred to him by what, 3/4 different coaches now?

Carson Chimbonda Coloccini Cuellar Dossena Bentley Tainio Deco Dos Santos Xisco Elmander Can't believe nobody put Dossena, £8m for someone who is genuinely one of the worst left backs in the league. Scott Carson is a much poorer keeper than Gomes btw who has improved a fair bit in recent months after looking like a clown early doors. Seems to have settled in now.

I don't see how anyone can feel sorry for him? Twat of a thing to do, arsing about like a naughty 12 year old at a school assembly during a memorial service. Just pathetic really.

You going to Wembley mate? I wish I could. Simply couldn't finance it; are you? Yep On a coach from Walton Rd at 8am tomorrow. I've only been once before in '95 but I was too young to appreciate it then so really looking forward to tomorrow. Nice one, should be a cracking atmosphere. Can see the game going all the way tbh. I think it will be a tight game. They'll have some tired legs and some fringe players out, hopefully we'll get a bit of luck and sneak it.

Looked terrible I thought and seemed like he was on another planet. He might be sober but his head's gone.

It was Caicedo Offside too.

Caicedo is a total donkey. £6m for an unkown striker who had hardly scored even in the Swiss league? I suspect some dodgy dealings went on there. City should take him off, put Robinho in the middle and stick Petrov on the left wing. Dunne needs to come off before he gets a red card too, I'd drop Kompany back and put a more attack minded player in.

Ingerlund chant City fans do my head in.

They used to have bananas and other inflatables all the time in the early 90's. Was a bit of a fad then. They're just being self-consciously mad fer it tonight on their £5 tickets though. What a hit from Elano

Well in Fwank

I'm shocked that 1) he started a game chasing at least 3 goals by putting three defensive midfielders on the pitch and 2) that they've actually got two goals in half an hour with that team selection!

No Jagielka? Fucking disgrace. Alonso has had arguably his best season to date as well, why is Giggs actually there? VDS is just stupid when you consider that someone of Torres' quality didn't make it. How many MOTM performances have the two of them put in this season? Torres must have numerous under his belt but VDS would have, what? Maybe one? The young players list is arguably worse. Evans and Rafael have played only a handful of games between them but the likes of Fellaini & Bassong who have been important players at their clubs all season don't get the nod? Then you've got people who broke through a bit later to become first team fixtures like Collison not recognised for it. I hate how biased football is. It's gone beyond a joke now.

opted to remain at Sky instead He walked out on us as assistant manager to join Sky, too. I also have it on very good authority (friend of la Dando) that he has an exceptionally small penis. He basically used the prospect of taking the Everton job as a bargaining tool with Sky for a new contract. After he left us in the lurch he was in the papers the next day posing with a Scotland shirt with something about Sky printed on the back. Total wanker.

Isnt Gray naturally going to be biased towards Villa what with him being an ex player He's still a prick mind either way He's not, really (biased towards us). See also David Platt, who never has a good word to say about us, despite having been "made" by us. Although i appreciate that we do better than most clubs in terms of ex players who show their colours as pundits (McInally, Dion Dublin etc). Andy Gray is an absolute c***, though. He was, with Sir Brian Little, my hero as a kid. re: Andy Gray, there is no way he is pro-Everton in his commentary either. You'd think he'd never played for us, nevermind won all his medals here and become a club legend. That coupled with the sickening fawning over Liverpool, and especially his little favourite Gerrard, mean that most Evertonians I know have gone from loving the man to thinking he's an utter prick. I think he's just generally a very fickle, shallow man. The only times I ever hear him talk well about us is when there's a few quid in it for him- plugging books or doing the after dinner circuit etc.

I went earlier this season and it wasn't quite that bad for getting a bevvy. We had a few on the high street while making the trek from Seven Sisters with no problems. Immediately around the ground was different though, tried a few pubs but as soon as they heard our accents they wouldn't let us in. A doorman at one of them directed us to a pub about 5/10mins walk away though which was alright and had a good mix of home & away fans. Fucked if I can remember the name though
