Van Gaal In Newcastle Jibe AZ Alkmaar coach Louis van Gaal has stoked the flames ahead of tonight’s Uefa Cup last-16 clash with Newcastle. The Magpies host the Dutch side in the first-leg, with Obafemi Martins expected to be one of the main threats to the visitors. But van Gaal, while praising the Nigerian, has suggested that the club does not match his talents. He said: "When you look at Obafemi Martins, in my eyes he is one of the best strikers at the moment in this league and maybe Europe as well. He is flexible, he is fast, he can shoot with both feet and he is a good header of the ball. "He has got talent, but he is not really playing at a top European club at the moment. Everton striker Victor Anichebe is one of three uncapped players from the Premiership to be included in Nigeria's squad for the 2008 African Nations Cup qualifier against Uganda. Anichebe is joined by Aston Villa's Gabriel Agbonlahor and Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha in the 37-strong squad and are among eight uncapped players invited by the Nigeria Football Association for the home game on 24th March. Newcastle defender Celestine Babayaro has also been recalled to the side.
