like he can stop them Like it will happen just because "some people in Scotland" say it will. Provide evidence or I will unleash the dogs of war (HTL & NE5) upon your sorry little arse! what do you call evidence? because people writing stories on websites and in newspapers are just speculating, the same as the people in Scotland

I'd actually forgotten about the mackems entirely, how are they doing? What happened to their meteoric rise back to the premiership and signing Ole Gunnar Solskjær? (Also I hear he wanks his dog, you know) learn how to bold things before posting please

http://www.nufc.com/ Premiership: Spurs (h) We return to Premiership action on Saturday when Martin Jol's Tottenham side are the visitors to SJP for a 3pm kickoff. NUFC: Given, Srnicek, Solano, Babayaro, Taylor, Ramage, Huntington, Parker, Butt, Emre, Milner, Duff, Pattison, Troisi, Gate, Edgar, Martins, Dyer, Sibierski, Luque, Rossi, Carroll. Both Babayaro and Duff are doubts, meaning that we may be forced to name an unchanged side to that which lost to Chelsea in midweek. If Roeder does change things around, Rossi and Sibierski could find themselves promoted from the bench - the former playing at SJP for the last time before his current loan period ends, if he gets on at all. Ameobi, Bernard, Bramble, Carr, Harper, Moore, N'Zogbia and Owen are all sidelined throughout the festive season. THFC: Robinson, Cerny, Chimbonda, Lee, Dawson, King, Assou-Ekotto, Stalteri, Davenport, Gardner, Zokora, Davids, Tainio, Murphy, Ghaly, Malbranque, Ziegler, Huddlestone, Berbatov, Mido, Defoe. Jermaine Jenas (ankle) and Robbie Keane (knee) will both be absent. Zokora will be available to return after serving a three match ban. Aaron Lennon missed out on Sunday's victory at Manchester City but expects to be fit to appear at SJP. Ref: Alan Wiley - second outing of the season at SJP for this official - provided he can make it up through the mist. His other appearance came in the Fulham home defeat. Former players Malcolm Macdonald and Tony Green will be signing copies of Dylan Younger's Newcastle Cult Heroes book at Fenwicks from Noon. Meanwhile over at Idols, it's the turn of former pitman and striker Alan Shoulder to answer questions in the latest free talk-in, from 1.45pm onwards. Transport: The Back Page have a limited number of seats left on their buses for this game - bookings via 0191 261 5005 or at the shop (last booking day is Saturday 23rd.)

Stelios Giannakopoulos does not believe luck has gone his way this season as he tries to win back his place in the Bolton side. Last season's top scorer has been frustrated this term after falling down the pecking order at The Reebok Stadium. Nicolas Anelka's arrival has meant Stelios has been warming the bench for most games this season. And when the chances have come, the Greek midfielder has been unable to take them, with last week a prime example. With El Hadji Diouf suspended, Stelios got his chance to impress against Aston Villa, but was struck down by injury mid-way through the first half. "I passed a late fitness test, but after 25 minutes I got injured, so it wasn't my day against Aston Villa," Stelios told Sky Sports News. "I've tried to get back fit as quickly as possible. "I've had an unlucky season so far, I've had a couple of injuries that have kept me back and this is a situation I've tried to fight. "I never give up, the team is going well and I try to do my best." Stelios has been linked with a January move away from Bolton, with Newcastle rumoured to be lining up a £2million bid. However, Stelios is keen to stay and prove himself to manager Sam Allardyce in the second half of the season. He said: "The gaffer believes in my abilities which is the most important thing for me and I'll try to show him that I'm still going for it. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=436843&CPID=8&clid=4&lid=&title=Stelios+rues+his+luck

GLENN Roeder is hoping Newcastle United's fans will keep up their recent scarf-twirling as they give their full backing to his bid to reach the Carling Cup semi-finals. Chelsea are the visitors to St. James' Park on Wednesday night for a quarter-final date. Seven days earlier, the Magpies lost narrowly 1-0 at Stamford Bridge in a Premiership meeting between the teams, but Glenn is hoping home advantage will work in his favour this time around. And the manager is in no doubt that the Geordie fans can help his players against the champions. Since the club gave out free scarves to fans at the Portsmouth game on November 26, supporters have continued to bring them to games - and goals in victories against Pompey, Reading and Watford have been celebrated with a flurry of scarves being waved. Glenn said: "One of the great features of our fans lately has been the scarf twirling and I would love that to become synonymous with the name of Newcastle United, I really would. "The players love it too, so let's not see it die gradually away, but let's keep it going. "Let the scarves feature become synonymous with Newcastle United." Don't forget - tickets are still on sale for this game, and there will also be cash turnstiles to pay on the night at the following locations: SJH NW Corner 9 & 13 SJH NE Corner 35 & 36 SE Corner 52 & 53 SW Corner 71 & 72
