  1. He'll still be here in 2018, having led us to 5 consecutive Premiership championships, 2 Champions League wins, and 3 FA Cup wins.

Been busy today. So, it's actually happened then?
  3. What happens if by some miracle we end up winning silverware under Pardew? That will never happen due to him being gash. And always will be. As I was saying, it was a hypothetical question, but there's a part of me that has a deep-seated fear of the absurd or unpredictable happening. Just like you know there will be a small gaggle of twats hanging round outside the club tomorrow to welcome Pardew and probably even give him a welcoming round of applause. You know it'll happen.
  4. Ah well, every cloud and all that.
  5. What happens if by some miracle we end up winning silverware under Pardew? You are having a laugh aren't you? That won't happen in a million years. No, as I just said, this is a hypothetical question, ffs! But have you stopped to consider how you'd feel watching the team win something whilst you're boycotting the club?
  6. Of course yes, but asked in earnest.

Yup. I would love to know what else Lord Sugar thinks about Mike Ashley. He must know a LOT more about Ashley's modus operandi in the business world.
  9. Normally I find myself agreeing with what you write and I used to feel like that, but I just can't do it any more I just feel worn down by things. This change makes no sense whatsoever, not a bit. The supporters for change managed to do some good by not attending games, maybe that time has come again. I'm not completely unaware of the conflict that exists in probably every single one of us between wanting on the one hand to remain loyal to the team, keeping the faith, supporting the Toon and on the other just not being able to take any more of Ashley's shite and wanting to take action to spur him on to sell up and fuck off. If I'm completely honest, what I said before was as much about reinforcing the message in my own head as it is to reinforce the message in other peoples' heads. We were here before Mike Ashley, and we'll be here long after the bastard us gone and all. But it is a hard knock to take, is this...
  10. i happen to think that being able to apply thinking like 'if we all stop giving ashley our money he'll have to f*** off' makes me a pretty considerate person and therefore a good friend tbh, but each to their own That's fair enough mate and I'd agree with you on that point. Look, I'm not saying that we should just bend over and take it up the backside from Ashley and his runty litter of fuckwits - but I am saying that folks can't let this (admittedly diabolical) latest turn of events dilute their passion for the club. If people choose to articulate that love of the club by stopping supporting it now, then that's fine, they can f*** off just so long as they don't come back when the good times return, because they will return. They will. What about not going to games anymore in the hope it will bring good times back - i.e. speed up Ashleys departure. I don't know, you tell me. Did it work last time round when Keegan walked? It didnt happen, everyone kept going, thinking he was he was going to sell the club. I'd like to see a proper sustained boycott from now till the end of the season, and then no-one getting season tickets in the summer, and seeing what he does then. To be honest, I think Skirge's idea of everyone going up to SJP for the game, but not going in, just simply standing outside and cheering the team shows a degree of media savvy that previous protests just didn't.

  13. Is supporting the club in the manner you're obviously alluding to still supporting the club considering the amount of damage that is being done to it? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's easy.
  14. Fully understand the question being raised but really can't agree with its original premise, tbh. You support the team, not Ashley, not Pardew, not Sky Sports News. You support the team. If that team is shit, then fuck it, you still support the team. It's the passion that drives you on - and that passion shouldn't dry up all of a sudden. So fucking what if the owner turns out to be a self-serving miserly cunt, you still support the team. It's not something you can fucking well drop just because it's somehow become inconvenient, irritating, distressing or embarrassing. If that's the way you feel about things, it says an awful lot more about you than it does about the state of the club. If you're that lightweight about the club then you must be (or would be) a truly fucking awful parent, husband/wife, friend, etc... Don't let the bastards get you down. Newcastle United FC will still be around long after Ashley’s been found kicked to death in a Newcastle back alley...

Wikipedia: Say no more. This club will stay make the headlines, not for our on-field prowess or success, but for our off-the-field antics and embarrassments.

Get yourself away to SOL then. No one forces you to support the Club. That's just such an asinine response to someone's obvious expression of pain - childish, in fact.

It will be Pardew, won't it? Then Carroll will be flogged in the January window, probably to Spurs... Enrique next as well I'd imagine ...this is going to be worse than when we were under Kinnear.

Lazy journalists, gullible punters, greedy bookmakers. That's where that came from.
  20. Fuck's sake. Even if it is Pardew that gets the gig, I'd have faith in this group of lads to pull together another 23 points from the remaining 22 games to keep us up.

Which came first: the media speculation or the bookies odds?
