Welcome to my world. Been saying it for the last two years. The bloke is thick as f***. All power, no brains. He needs a good coach. He needs a good fucking brain transplant.
-
We will next season.

It was never in a million years a Sunderland freekick. That said, they deserve the lead and we've been diabolical so, overall, I'm not that fucked about the Mike Dean gift.
-
Get to fuck you fucking backslapping bellend. You can fucking go. Rotten club, rotten players.
-
They've gone 3 up top, meaning any sensible opposition manager would flood the midfield. Carver has not ONE fucking footballer in midfield: Cabella - all tricks, no substance. Sissoko - all physique, no intelligence. Jonas - Finished Colback - Never started. Gouff - Fucking garbage.
-
Absolutely woeful display. What a bunch of cunts. Honestly man, just fuck off the lot of you, including Krul the fucking backslapping cunt.
-
Absolutely nothing Dave. Genuinely did not put three passes together.
-
Fucking disgraceful performance that half from NUFC. Go fuck yourself Crevice Face.
-
Great finish but never ever a freekick.
-
Sissoko is like 'eh, is that even English you're speaking John?'
-
This is fucking shit. Disgraceful way to at up a team for a derby match.

Not sure out back four will cope with 3 up top. I've fancied us to sneak a win all week but, having seen the teams, now think they'll do us. -
IMHO, if we go for McClaren, it'll be because Ashley will think he can rekindle his previous reputation (Man Utd assistant, England etc) and then flog him on a la Pardew. Damaged goods, repair the box a bit, give the PR boys a project of generating positive press and BINGO! flog on and rinse/repeat.

Ipswich players have improved under Mick McCarthy. I wouldn't want him either.
-
7 people in every 100 choosing Charver or Billy Boring and yet we know it's going to be one or the other. Laughable.
-
When you put it like that, it's almost as if he's trying to replicate his sports kit sales with his manager appointment policy. Former big brand names devalued then picked up cheap and rebadged. Who'd have thought it, eh?
-
He's only considered damaged goods by supporters. In the game he is highly rated. Yes mate, so highly rated his last two jobs have been Forest and Derby. Someone better tell Jose to watch out next season.
-
He's also still damaged goods in some respects after the England failure. Ashley loves the bargain bin for knackers/weirdos/morons.
-
This has been in pretty much every main paper now. There has to be something in it. I've always been of the opinion that they'd go for Charver but the volume on the McClaren talk is not getting any quieter.

That stat doesn't surprise me at all. I know that on any forum a certain momentum can build around particular opinions, but I'm baffled as to exactly why there's such a gap between the view on here and how Colback is assessed by the majority of supporters and by the professionals at the club. I don't want to get into a pointless 'he's decent - no, he's not he's shite' type debate. I would agree though with tgarve that our main problems are elsewhere - particularly the defence. He's nowhere near good enough for a starting spot in the middle of any top sides midfield imho. There's not a club above us where he'd get a regular game. What I can say is that, given our other options in midfield, I'm not surprised that he's an automatic choice. This is why I find the targeting of him quite exasperating. Of course, if you prefer to compare him to other players at other clubs, or some other player who we 'should' be going for, then you'll find better options. You don't even have to look that far to compare him. He replaced Yohan Cabaye in our side. That's not even talking about who we should be going for. That's who we had. Fundamental downgrade.

Nobody can say that nomination is unfair tbqh, regardless of which paper it comes from. He's flopped in a big way.

There's not a will from our club to be better than we are though. He's not one of the players we'll be looking to sell, you're right. We'll be looking to flip Sissoko, Perez etc. Our transfer policy seems to be try and sign players we should look to move on for a profit. This will be a revolving door. The main stays will be bang average / relegation battle level PL players.. preferably English/Geordie.. to fill in the rest. Urgh. Leading, once again, to the question of 'whats the fucking point'?
