Don't think it's the tactics. Think their amount of possession and closing down has just left us pinned back. Plus they have incredible pace in Lennon and Bale, so we shouldn't be too far forward. We'll get chances here. No doubt.
-
Sissoko with a quiet start so far.
-
That's a foul on Cisse. All day.
-
As good as they are down the flanks, we could worry them if Debuchy and Santon push on.
-
Loving the Goof's movement.
-
Much better in that little spell there.
-
You can get 12/1 on NUFC now if anyone fancies a second comeback result in a week?
-
Perch you fucking cunt.
-
I'd turn around now pal.
-
Bollocks. Bale freekick into the bottom right hand corner.
-
Very positive start from Spurs here.
-
Bale puts in a nice low cross to Dempsey, just blocked out by NUFC.

Was that Michael McIntyre in the crowd there?

Now we have genuine competition Pardew has to stand by those performing well rather than reputation. I don't think you can knock him for that. -

Oh FFS. -
I hope he is but I reckon Pardew will stick with Perch. In fact, I'm sure of it. Tiote for the bench which, to be fair, he deserves for that new sheep dip barnet.

What a fucking weapon that cunt is. Complete shit stirrer.

What an article that is on Gazza. Superb piece.

My fancies for the game at the weekend: Under 2.5 goals @ 11/10 (theory being that they're struggling up front with injuries and I'd back us to be fairly solid against 1 up top) NUFC 2-1 @ 12/1 Sissoko anytime at 5/1 Cisse to score and NUFC win @ 7/1 All on my radar as looking decent value. All odds from Skybet.

You could reverse that and I wouldn't take it.

Was he, where? Awful bars on Osborne road right near me Can't remember exactly, a friend on facebook got a photo with him. You know, a part of me really wish he had stayed with us. I really hope Campbell can make a similar step up I can think of 35m reasons I'm glad he didn't! Likewise, but there's still an irreplaceable feeling seeing one of your own come through and do well. Seeing them sold off is a bit of a kick like Yeah - I know what you're saying and I felt very much the same at the time. Looking at Carroll now......he's looking injury prone and a risk at any price north of £5m imho. The young, english factors probably give him a base value of £5m but I can't imagine anyone wanting to throw money at Liverpool now. I think I said at the time (last summer) that Liverpool should cut and run because if the loan move didn't work out (which it hasn't) they're another year down the line with his contract and he's a heavily depreciating asset. It was never like Rodgers was going to play him/want him back so they were best off getting shot. Hope they lose a bomb on him though.

FWIW Liverpool enquired about HBA in the Jan window. I presumed them signing that Coutinho guy was their alternative.
