  1. Pardew needs to fucking publically criticise these bent cunts and take whatever fine comes his way. That was absolutely scandalous.
  2. Does this bent scando cunt have the second leg or do the officials change?
  3. Seriously the closest I've seen to a fixed NUFC game. Genuine suspicions.
  4. Going to be a very very tough game at their place btw. They are a very tidy team. I'd be inclined to bring Anita on now for Tiote to protect against knackers getting a second booking.
  5. We miss Le Goof's movement up top. His intelligence makes a massive difference to our threat level imho. Sissoko looks a player.
  6. I reckon under 2.5 goals is the bet in our game.
  7. Somewhat of a risk starting all 3 of your 3 good centre backs. Needless.

    Kevin Keegan

The best time in our recent history has been with KK at the helm (first time around) and it's like may never be seen again. For those too young or living abroad, Keegans infectious enthusiasm and gung-ho football lifted a region with a massive gale force-esque blast of wind and carried it along for years. He genuinely 'got' the area, got the people and massively embraced the pressure that makes many others wilt away. You would turn up to games just knowing you were going to absolutely smash sides. You'd walk into the bookies on the way to the game and regularly back us to win 4-1, 5-2, 3-1. This wasn't traditional football, this was cavalier 'we're better than you' football, this was confidence and swagger and the whole of Tyneside absolutely lapped it up. Seriously, it takes some explaining now, but it was a phenomenon of our time that period of football. It was sheer, unadulterated enthusiasm coupled with some fantastic players. Sometimes, and it doesn't happen very often, the leader of a club, it's fans and it's players just click and magic happens. The stadium was alive every week, the NUFC away fans travelled in absolute droves, some weeks you could visually witness opposition players crumbling due to the pressure. Seriously, it sounds ridiculous now, but at the time the whole city was just absolutely buzzing. The anticipation of battering opposition every week with great players, playing great football, without fear of getting beat or getting booed was just unreal for those few years. You were literally gutted if you drew a game at SJP because that just didn't happen. Nobody would come to our ground and get points. It was a total fortress. Magic happened during that first period. We had him at his best, KK. We were his club and he knew what we needed. It saddens me that the chances of that happening to any club, on any sort of level, are very very very unlikely nowadays due to the Abramovichs, Arabs and Americans Billionaires who use our game as a toy, a play thing, a cock measuring contest because the people that suffer are us, proper football fans. Our team will never again challenge for the league, barring some miracle. But that KK time, man, I wouldn't give up the experience for the world. There's no doubt that the initial KK period set the foundations for the club we see today and made a large percentage of todays ST Holders fall in love with the game and the club and whatever you think of him as a guy (and I've got views on KK the personality) you can't just can't deny that his appointment was just absolutely seismic at the time and that we wouldn't be where we are now if it wasn't for that appointment. Forget SJH, forget Fletcher, Shepherd, Ashley - forget them all because without that KK appointment this club would be barely recognisable.
  9. Hope the little fella gets some game time soon. In the words of Louis Walsh 'I loik him'.
  10. Just a little gimmick that they want to push I'd imagine, not sure what they gain from it. They gain the customers through the attraction of being able to 'manage' your bets live. If you're gambling big money on say Man Utd tomorrow and they go one up but are looking really dodgy at the back, you may wish to cash in your chips and take the money. A guaranteed return and no more stress. I can certainly see the attraction to it. Sporting Index do the same thing with goalscorer numbers etc. It's pretty exciting watching the 'exchange/market' move and deciding what to do with your bet.
  11. Doesn't less likely = longer odds? I mean I realise that him taking the money means he won even when his bet didn't come in, but it seems back to front to me that as something gets less likely you stand to win less money. But why would you get more money from cashing out when it's looking likelier that you will lose the bet, as opposed to when you're looking relatively safe to win it? Because you're liable to lose it completely if Everton equalise. The risk increases, which is the whole principle behind betting, surely. From the betting companies point of view, the chance you'll cash out at Man U 4-2 Everton is pretty slim, therefore they can stand to offer a larger proportion of what you'd stand to win. As soon as it goes to 4-3 and Everton look like they might get a draw from the game, more people will think about cashing out and therefore they offer you a lower amount to compensate for that fact. You have to remember the betting company holds all the power here, and it's a bit like Ashley-style brinksmanship in that they can offer a fairly naff sum to you and you'll still consider it because the chance of ending up with nowt is far greater. Aye I get it now. Still think it's crummy at best. Just trying to scare you into taking the cash out offer instead of seeing out your bet which presumably costs them much more if you win. Sure, sometimes (as the example in the advert) something is better than nothing, but it's pretty devious IMO. I don't see that tbh. Basically the commercial advantage that they're trying to push is the Customers ability to control their bet in real time and decide when to cash it in. There's no obligation to. It works both ways, yes they may pay out less but any return is better than no return to a gambler. If anything, in the event everyone embraced the concept their returns would probably be less due to gamblers using their site becoming more risk averse - i.e: cashing in their chips at the first sign of danger. There's probably a living to be made in that if you were switched on enough.
  12. It's advertising a CASH OUT option which means he's placed the bet. If his bet looks less certain to come in due to a shift in the game then he can CASH OUT before the game (bet) ends. Basically gives the gambler an element of control once the market has started so its a plus of placing your bet win them as opposed to walking in to say Ladbrokes and having a straight 'win' which will either win or lose and can't be 'managed' in play.
  13. That's a huge reliance on Celtic there. I wouldn't have them in any of my bets.
  14. Agree with that. There's a brain there which is the difference between him and Obertan.
  15. I'd say there was an argument for Bigi to be a green given he's surpassed all reasonable expectation levels with his performances to date. Gosling probably a red for me.
