Goal are saying we want Markovic from Liverpool.
-
£945 million spent so far from prem clubs.

At least he had ability, certainly in the championship. No this s*** about Barton in the Championship again, surely? Beat me to it. He performed better that season than McManaman ever had in his career, or certainly had a more positive influence on us being promoted. So we are fine with c***s then, Just as long as they're above average? Let's be honest, if we were signing a quality player, not many people would be concerned about anything else. The fact that the tackle was on one of our players, coupled with the fact that he is a terrible footballer makes people against the potential signing. Is he terrible? How many times you watched him? Always remember him looking dangerous before he went to West brom. I've seen him a few times, maybe not enough to form a whole opinion on him, but on the times I've seen him he has done nothing to impact a game. His career stats tell a story themselves. Again I think we could do a lot better, and coupled with his history with us, I think it would be a bad signing.mfmhe had obvious ability then there would be a strong reason for overlooking that tackle.

He's never done well at any level, so that coupled with the tackle makes it a awful signing.
-
Hoping more than ever Sissoko stays now.
-
Supposedly we want two wingers though. I'm pretty sure Rafa wouldn't bring him in if he knew the history.
-
Nice to see we have or are trying to address the lack of pace in our squad.
-
He will be jeered every single game.
-
Spurs? They clearly want another midfielder having be for Zaha, Chadli is going to WBA, and German media are sayi Wolfsburg are in for Son.

http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-utd-news-pogba-morrison-11398820 Alleged the best ever talent at old Trafford according to Ferdinand.Pogba used to look up to him & idolised him. Imagine if Rafa could sort him? He must have settled a bit now, he's 23. I know coaches who had him at Manchester United. Both agree he's 'the best player they've seen' and both also said he was an idiot who they had little sympathy for. I also know a trainee they had who was chucked out for serious bullying (i.e. aggravated violence / GBH). They have a lower opinion of Morrison's personality. I know quite a few people who know him personally / grew up with / played at junior level with him and they all have the same view - insanely talented and a lot of trouble. As people have said though, he is older now ... So, who knows? If he had changed, and was that good surely Lazio would keep him.

Just reading through the latest rumours, looks likely there will be at least £200 million more spent before the deadline. Must be close to a billion spent now.
-
One of the most bizarre transfers of the window.
-
I still expect him to go, however if he has to stay I have faith that Rafa will make him knuckle down and he can be a major player for us, at least till January. If we do sell him, I would expect us to have a replacement already in mind.
-
Yeah, however even without the tackle, he has done nothing of note for a couple of years now.
-
Noticed that Adomah isn't even on the bench for Boro, linked with us and Villa yesterday. We've also been made favourites to sign Callum McManaman.
-
They've signed 11 new players (we've signed 10 - it'll be 11 when Lazaar is confirmed today), so that's not strictly true. They started in a weaker position, have made weaker signings and are continuing to sign players for positions that they don't need to. They'll struggle to make the playoffs, said it all along. At worst, they could end up at the wrong end of the table. Weaker signings -Elphick, Chester, McCormack, Jedinak, would all get in our team. They have had to build a new spine for their team, and we're on a downward spiral from last year. They certainly have enough quality to be right up challenging, wether or not they do is dependant on Di Matteo.
-
I think they will be fine, they've made more changes than we have, and started in a weaker position.
-
Agreed, Everton fans don't rate him at all.
-
Most mentioned around £3 million yesterday.
-
Much rather we went for Burke. Either would be brilliant, although Burke is being linked with Man Utd and Bayern this morning.
-
The journalist who wrote this was spot on with the Yedlin deal before everyone else the other day.

Hardly a player you want another player to learn off tbh. Disagree with us having plenty of pace in attack as well, we have Gayle and that's it.
