I’ve seen a few posts over the last few weeks saying PIF will be ruthless and won’t accept a poor season. What exactly is this based on, because nothing they have done since the takeover suggest this.

Ben Jacobs saying we have asked Chelsea about taking Santos on loan.

He provides genuine top class ability, and scores goals.

People are going to be disappointed if they are expecting much in this window.

After the amount of games we have had and the injuries and fatigue etc, 6 days is nowhere near enough to recover btw. Obviously that isn’t the only reason we are struggling mind.

The main issue he has is that he massively overachieved last season. Genuinely think that’s where the reactions and pressure is coming from. Ridiculous really.

I hope he’s given at least another season, it does however feel like the next few weeks are pivotal for him moving forward. I know a few on here are saying otherwise, but that Sunderland game is absolutely massive on Saturday.
