It’s possibly because for me we are a CB and RW signing away from having a complete 11 imo. I can definitely understand them wanting to wait and get in their number one targets.

Other clubs increase prices based on what they think we have to spend and how desperate we may be. With less than a week left that may put us in that category. Although tbh I’d be happy to not buy another CB if we can’t land a top target.

They did, but if you look at their form for when the competition got competitive it pretty much fell off a cliff. They got top 4 more for their form before that.
