I’m trying so hard to not get excited. I even thought of the takeover was eventually passed I wouldn’t care as much but I’m actually more excited than before. I jsut want to support my club again.

Yep and in a way it’s true it’s about separation but they only cared about separation because of the piracy.

And to add to the athletic piece he was the journo who was very forthcoming saying the takeover wouldn’t happen due to the piracy so he’s clearly being briefed by the prem side of the deal.

Worth noting the journo for the athletic who is writing it’s happening is one of the biggest sceptics of the takeover last summer.

It’s clear all the main journos have been briefed now, however they where also briefed numerous times last summer and we all know what happened then.

I suppose we will find out soon.

I agree with this however I also feel like KSA wouldn’t just lift the ban without getting something in return.

Fwiw I think the likes of Edwards and Jordan have been briefed in some form or another by the prem throughout this whole saga as well so hopefully them being more positive today is a good sign.

Alternatively I would also add that it also seems strange for this to be resolved if KSA wasn’t getting anything out of it.

And you have to wonder if this had any bearing on the takeover then last weeks CAT case wouldn’t have gone ahead.

If this has anything at all do to with helping the takeover then news should all break pretty quickly from here on in. Unfortunately it won’t have any bearing on it IMO.

That seems to be what they are now suggesting after a bit of social media backlash.

Just there responses on Twitter to fans asking for some action, they have e seemingly since tweeted more to stop the negative reaction.

The trust confirming they will do nothing to publicly call out Bruce. No shock there from them.
