At what point can people stop sending in letters or whatever to delay this, like if they where close to a decision at what point do they ignore any new evidence to come in.

They may have been wrong a few times, however I think the important thing with this statement is the we understand comment, it’s something they rarely do, they have definitely got some inside information. Could even be from the buying side as it’s widely reported their first job will be to reach out to fans and groups alienated during the Ashley era.
