  1. They saved £40-50m buying now, guess that offsets what will be lost in ticket money for next season. I hope you lot are right and this has been factored in all the way through this process. I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest and be concerned that a global pandemic and the huge uncertainty around football in general could have some factor in a lengthy saga of the 300m purchase of a football club whose income sources are potentially in question for next however many months Normally yes. This isn’t a normal buyer stumping up the cash. Now is the best time for cash rich to spend, everything is cheaper and things with no price tags suddenly become available, that includes players and even football clubs. It’ll be announced next week. Worth mentioning that the PIF group where and still are actively looking to buy in this market because they know it’s a good time to do deals.
  2. I'm not sure where you've been but the deal is already agreed. Once the PL give the green light, the funds are transferred and the club is theres. Theres no waiting around to see when football returns. Also there is an argument to suggest this deal would never have happened if it where not for the covid-19 outbreak
  3. ? What was this? It was a tweet from someone who has written a complaint about that Miguel Delaney and it’s the response from someone from the independent.
  4. It will all be forgotten about if it gets done and the football comes back.

They won’t have any match day revenue for the foreseeable future either.

In layman’s terms what does that article mean?
  7. Ambassador roles would be best for any ex players I think, think the ones mentioned such as shearer have to big a personality to worm alongside a top manager and we don’t want fall outs and fans kicking off and siding with ex players over managers.
  8. Fwiw, Mark Douglas has said that the information on their site ties in with what he has heard as well.
  9. Supposedly it has been run for years and is supposedly pretty accurate.
  10. Same article says they won’t get passed the prem checks as well
  11. If it was done on Friday as Tsunami was told, surely we would hear today ?
  12. Believe i read it was about 25th May...after that there is no compensation payable to Spurs 31st of may according to SSN, appoint him before then and whoever does owes sours £12.5 million
  13. Pretty sure we beat them under Pardew, may have been 4-2 or something close.
  14. Reliable source or you actually know? From the risk team at Barclays. It's second hand info I concede but I 100% trust that I'm not on the end of a wind up myself. Reason they would be informed is in the covenant for the loan/overdraft - change of ownership in the business is a material event. Does nothing for the timing mind, still got to keep glued to SSN for that That timing kind of fits in with what I was told on Friday. Charnley I’m told rang the club on Friday after the PL meeting to say that it was all approved and that they were waiting for the rest of the funds to be released. I’m aware of who was told this by Charnley and it came to me via a chain of only 2 other people, no friend of a friend type of chain either. I’m still hoping we hear something this week but if Friday was the approval day then the money transfer may not have started any process until Monday. Here’s hoping, I’ll be gutted now if this gets stopped. Weren’t caulkin and others told checks where still ongoing this week though ?
  15. Yep if it’s true sounds like the tests where finished today.
  16. Also fwiw Duncan castles says on his podcast he spoke to the buyers side this week
