A norwegian liverpool supporter went mad when Dirk Kuyt scored.

He jumped up and grabbed a beam on the roof just by the outdoor serving and startet to swing from it. "Unfortunatley" his hand slipped, and he took a nice nosedive 2 meters straight into the concrete and had to be taken to the hospital with an ambulance immediatley.

    The article finishes with:

"At least he didn't have to see the second half..."

    ;D

  2. Btw watched McGeady last night and he was awful not one decent cross and is very poor when running at players

    stay away from him

    also Cuellar was sent of

McGeady was pretty good I thought(never seen him play before). He were never going to get an easy game the way Rangers played, but he tried, and got past his men (seemed like he always had two men on him) quite a few times, and deliverd some fine crosses.

Cuellar had a good game as well I thought. Good in the air, good positioning and well timed tackles. He saved a goal for Rangers, and even though it didn't matter at the time, it looked like he saved Rangers a point untill OT when Celtic finally scored the winner.

  3. Rotting in the reserves on giant wages in Chelsea, og rotting on the bench on giant wages in Newcastle - there isn't much difference.

If he came here, we shouldn't guarantee him a place in the first team, and he wouldn't come unless we did so.

  4. Arsenal: Gallas, Toure, Senderos, Djorou

    A.Villa: Mellberg, Laursen, Davies, Knight

    B.Ham: Taylor, Ridgewell, Jaidi

B.Burn: Ooijer, Samba, Nelsen, Khizanishvili, Mokoena

    Bolton: Meite, O'Brien, Cahill

Chelsea: Carvalho, Terry, Alex, Ben haim

    Derby: Stubbs, Todd, Nyatanga

    Everton: Yobo, Gardner, Jagielka, Lescott

Fulham: Bocanegra, Stefanovic, Hangeland, Baird, Hughes, Christanval

    Liverpool: Agger, Skrtel, Carragher, Hyypia

Man City: Dunne, Richards, Onuoha, Corluka

Man Utd: Ferdinand, Vidic, O'Shea, Brown, Pique

    Boro: Wheater, Pogatetz, Huth

    Portsmouth: Campbell, Distin, Primus, Hreidarsson

    Reading: Ingmarsson, Sonko, Bikey, Duberry

    Sunderland: McShane, Nosworthy, Anderson, Evans

Tottenham: King, Woodgate, Dawson, Kaboul, Rocha

W.Ham: Gabbidon, Ferdinand, Upson, Collins, Tomkins

Wigan: Scharner, Bramble, Hagen, Granqvist, Boyce

If I've done my research properly now, this is all 1st team centre halves in the premiership bar the ones on our books. That's 79 centrehalves. Out of all these centrehalves, I would only prefer Upson, King, Woodgate, Campbell, Distin, Ferdinand, Vidic, O'Shea, Brown, Dunne, Richards, Agger, Skrtel, Carragher, Yobo, Lescott, Carvalho, Terry, Alex, Ben haim, Samba, Nelsen, Laursen, Davies, Gallas and Toure. That's 26 out of 79 in the premiership. Clearly above average then in my books. That's not shit, crap etc as some people say. Shit is what you fint in lower divisions. It took me some while to gather this info, so I kind of forgot where I was going with all this.

But Taylor isn't shit, crap, poor etc. Hes a little better then average in PL standards. Ok?

  5. I think Enrique is better than average. Take all first choice left backs in the league, and put them in order of who you would like most to be here at Newcastle, then I bet Enrique would be on 4th-6th place on most peoples lists. Im happy with that, as we arn't in a situation where we can attract players of Evra, Clichy and Cole's calibre. Best of all, he is still young and can develope even further.

    Keep him, play him.

  6. Think he had the highest number of shots pr. goal ration in the league last season. He isn't very good defensivley. He is on the downhill. He would demand high wages to leave the man he thinks of when he wanks him self to sleep every night (Stevie G).

  7. Fucking hell. We don't need him, we don't want him, we don't want to see his fuck ugly face more than two times pr season. I nearly had a seizure last time we were linked with him. This doesn.ger, gmome'r'wbvpå m'vø,læE.-1!!

  8. I know he's nowhere near fit but we could do with him at the minute.  He's not the best defender in the world but he doesnt make many errors and I'd prefer him over Taylor at the moment.  Him and faye would be unspectacular but solid and reliable.

My f****** god. I know some people here are desperate and willing to try whatever just in case it works and saves our ass, but brother, Ramage is NOT the way to go. He is so limited it's just sad watching him. My memory of Ramage is his red hot face leaving the pitch in the first half after being terrorised by Rooney. He is so out of this league that they get. Now get yourself togehter Northern Soul!

As opposed to our other cb's this season who have easily coped with the threat of rooney, ronaldo et al (faye excluded).  We where better defensively when we had a back 4 of carr ramage bramble and huntingdon.  Yes I realise we had a far superior midfield protecting the back 4, I'm just saying on the basis of what I've seen this season I'd pair him wth faye until things sort themselves out.  Taylor thinks he's a keeper wo can't handle the ball ad Cacapa will never be a prem cb as he ca't handle the physical aspect.

I know ramage is poor and I wouldn't renew his contract.  I'm just trying to say at least the lad sticks to his job and does it to the best of his abilities and will give 100% and in a relegation battle, defensively, thats what you need.  You on't need these types in attacking roles though (cough...Smith)

Im no expert in English by no means, but isn't the term "clutching at straws" the right term to use?

Anyway, that was the last memory I had of Ramage, but as others have said, he has had many other shocking games, and I can tell you one thing: He will not be better than he were before and he has been out for a long time with injury. It would be absolute suicide to put him in the team this season, or the next one regardless of which division we play in for that matter.

  9. I know he's nowhere near fit but we could do with him at the minute.  He's not the best defender in the world but he doesnt make many errors and I'd prefer him over Taylor at the moment.  Him and faye would be unspectacular but solid and reliable.

  10. £9m bid already made according to Tribalfootball. Seems a little odd given that the transfer window is shut.

Nothing wrong in setting up a transferdeal before the window opens, actually that's what's been bugging me for years. Alot of clubs tie up players long before the stressful window opens, while it seems like our latest managers havn't even begun looking at players before the window opens. Hope there is some truth in these rumours.

  11. If Emre's out, then we simply can't play Butt-Geremi, Butt-Faye or Geremi-Faye in central midfield. We need someone who can make -something- happen, so either N'Zogbia or Barton has to play, no matter how poorly some people think about Barton, he has at least made two or three very good passes each game he has played that could have resulted in a goal oppertunity.

    Harper

    Beye-Faye-Cacapa-Enrique

    Lua Lua-Barton/N'Zogbia-Geremi/Butt-Duff/N'Zogbia

    Martins-Owen

  12. Maybe, but I don't think all of our centerhalves would leave, I don't think Keegan would allow it.

One of Faye, Cacapa or Taylor would stay on, and if Taylor left, how brilliant wouldn't it be if we kept Faye?

  13. I know it sounds kind of corny, but if we were to go down, I wouldn't mind seeing a team like this:

    -----------------------Harper---------------------

    New guy------Tozer-------Taylor-------Kadar

    Troisi------New guy---New guy-----Lua Lua

    ----------Carroll-----Zamblera/Baheng-------

Would be kind of refreshing seeing a team that actually cared, and wanted to make an impression. Maybe a profilic striker is needed as well, but if we got a RB, two CM and a striker of high championship standard with some experience, I don't think it would be much trouble with getting promoted directly in our first season down. For all we know, a fresh start might be the thing we need to take the club back to the top again. It's absolutley ridicoulos how much the first team players are paid compared to what they can offer us in terms of skills and passion.
