I don't fancy them at all, they have been so bad this season, I'm not sure they have enough quality to get back up anytime soon. There's a big rebuild programme needed there and it starts with finding a manager who's willing to take over, until the do that they are screwed.

Man City didn't look anything special today against a very poor Wolves team. You're right no they didn't, which gives us some hope. But it also showed how that team could perhaps just switch off completely if the game against us was meaningless.

It's strange isn't it. That's 3 relegations in his career already. Today I saw why we did so well to get 8million for him, he's really a pretty poor CB, who's positioning and constant pulling always mean he's gonna potentially cost you. I wouldn't take him back even on a free tbh.

Bad day for us in terms of results tbh. We really needed the title race to be over by the time we face Manshitty. Hopefully Manure can beat the Manshitty at their place, but if they defend like they did today, I don't see that happening.

Not sure WBA winning is a good result for us tbh. Everton is are last game of the season, we don't need them to have too much to play for or be in buoyant mood in that game, the big incentive will be to finish ahead of Liverpool. It would be in our best interests if Liverpool had already secured finishing above their neighbours by the time we play them. Liverpool aren't going to finish above Everton man They would have went above them if they had beaten WBA

They were pretty awful under him, that performance at SJP last year was as bad as I've seen by a Liverpool team against us in a long time. Yeah, until we played them recently that was such a hilarious game Nope, they were worse last year, they really were.

Just shows how bad Wolves really are. That's the kind of defending they've done all game, yet Manshitty only 2-0 up.

Very unimpressed with Manshitty today. They may go on to win this by a few but really that's not a title winning team performance. Wolves are simply awful, they have no quality whtasover but were in the game for a long time and were only really undone there by a shocking ref decision and an unfortunate hamstring pull. There's not one player on that Wolves team I can honestly say I would like us to recruit in the summer, Jarvis looks like he should be a better player than he actually is, Kightly is full of energy and somewhat intriguing but he lacks that bit of quality and some poor decision making also hampers him, the rest are firmly championship standard players.

Must win game really in the chase for CL. But all games now are, think we'll need at least 10 points from the last 4 games, when you look at the fixtures for Spuds and Chelsea. Wigan slipped up at Fulham, not sure if that's a good thing or not, because another win may have put them safe already and perhaps on their holidays when we play them. But their form bubble was burst and I watched most of that game and fulham could have won by a few more.

We're doing well, but we got to remember that only Colo, would perhaps get on their team and Ba on the bench, lol and they call us deluded.

Apparently we were lucky again today, if you listen to Stoke's Boss. They should have won 3 nil with a hatrick from Walters and all our goals were because of poor play by them, why can't these bloody managers give credit where credit is due ? Stoke manager Tony Pulis: "We had a lot of chances today. Jon Walters, who I think the world of, could have come out of the game scoring a hat-trick. "But the difference in both boxes was they hit the target and we never. From being very much in the game we were 2-0 behind after two very poor goals. "At the start of the second half we thought if we could get that goal it would have been game on. But the third goal was very poor again and that gave them the momentum to go on. "You've got to give our players credit - they kept going and kept going. I don't think it was that bad a performance." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17711736

It's an easy conclusion to make that Stoke were crap, on their holidays or whatever, and I'm sure that's what their manager will come out with but that would do us a huge injustice, we dominated them and stopped them performing as well as doing the business at the other end of the pitch. That was a CL team level performance today.
-
That was a really solid performance. Never looked in any danger whatsover, the 9-0 shots on target count shows that. Dangerous up front, thought we could have doubled the score and it wouldn't have flattered us. Gonna have a good week a work, my boss is a Stoke fan, lol.

I remeber his intervfiew after we beat them up at their place, he was extremely un complimentary and un gracious in defeat, a complete contrast to the way Pards has conducted himself in post match interviews all season.

It's getting a little clearer now. Wigan are amazing, every year the same crap, look doomed for most of the season, then come the end, they start to win and claw themselves out of it, one more win for them now and they are just about there imo. Wolves are as good as down of course. Blackburn's recent form has them in huge trouble, can't really see them escaping. Calling the last spot though is tricky, Bolton have those two games in hand, but when you are at the bottom points in the bank mean a lot more than games in hand. Villa's form has them still in the mix with Wigan and QPR. If I had to pick one right now though that was going to go, I would say QPR.
-
I think the threshold will be around the 70 point mark, if we can somehow get to that I think we'll be there or thereabouts.
-
Think tonights results hurt our push. Wigan beating Manure shows what great form they are in right now and will give them a confidence boost ahead of the game with us. Manshitty winning big, coupled with Manure's defeat keeps them in the title hunt and therefore the game with us may still mean something.
-
If we finish 4th and Chelsea win the CL we don't go into CL do we, it'll be the europa league, so if Chelsea do beat Barca, then we might well be looking at catching Arsenal for 3rd if we want CL football. Great optimistic post, unfortunately I'm the eternal pessimist so I see us finishing 6th and Everton making the FA cup final, so no europe for us. I bloody hope the gods go with you vision and not mine.

been reading through that thread where Midds puts them to the sword. Hehe, they still keep reffering to us playing "hoofball", "gameship winning games" and that they've matched us since MON took over, even though the gap in points has widened That Robin Hood guy is a complete and utter tool.
-
Someone best tell Fulham. Fulham have been poor they don't have enough to get back into this

Been disappointed with Chelsea, really lucky to have won these last two games
