Terry is fucking terrible
-
f*** off. Seriously. You English? Yip Then you are a fucking dickhead, tbh
-
How the hell did Ireland qualify, lol. Great to see the goals flowing for Spain today, means a draw versus Croatia will be enough if it stays this way.
-
Who was it, I forget which thread that wrote something about Ireland having more of a chance of getting out of the group than England. LOL. They'll be the first team to offically be out won't they ? I'm half Spanish so this is going well.

Wouldn't 10 million be like top 5 fee ever for a goalie, even more than the 9m paid the mackems paid for that worldclass talent Gordan ? It's not a bad bid, but nowhere near what we should accept, we have no need to sell especially with the long term contract he's just signed.

To wade into this, personally I think Terry is the most overated England of the last decade or so. What little ability he had has clearly gone now. His career has been helped immensely by the partner's he had and the fact that he's a good old London boy playing for the new cool London team. If Woodgate had been able to stay fit, no doubt in my mind that he and Rio would have been the premier England CB pairing instead of Terry and Rio. Lescott and Jaghoweveryouspellit, should be our #1 partnership in this tournament, it's not world class but it's the best we have.

How the fuck does a team like Liverpool, who have been wank all season, have the most representation in the England squad. FFS Roy, they hated you there, no need to suck up to them anymore. I'll be surprised if we even score a goal in this whole Euro, let a lone even win a match.
-
It's daft like, I want them to do well but I hope England batter France tbh with HBA and Cabaye having good games. Couldn't agree more, I'm generally meh about international football, but the Euros and WC are fun and awful if England haven't qualified. Nice to see HBA and Cabaye do well but not at our expense. HBA with a couple of goals and cabaye with the third in a 4-3 loss for France against England would be ideal

Yeah good luck to the lad, I've never been his biggest fan, but definately stepped up to the plate when called upon this season, solid memeber of the squad. Is certainly good enough to hold down a first team spot in this league, just too much ahead of him here.

Not seen this posted yet, so forgive me if it has been but Martinez looks like is their man: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18110974

Actually that wouldn't surprise me at all. Like it or not, MON still is a big name in football. He would jump at the chance I'm pretty sure, he really fancies himself as a manager of one the big clubs in this country. Sunderland could lose their new messiah The thing that would go against this is probably is MON is seen as too similar to Hodgson and Dalglish, comes from a different age and they need to think a little differently with their next appointment because the previous two haven't worked at all. That makes me think that Martinez is probably the best bet.

Time To Stop Teams In The Same League Loaning Players To Each Other?
afar replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
I'm not sure why they brought this rule back in , in the first place. They took it away for a while, it just makes no sense unless you are one of the 4 or 5 clubs able to loan out your squad players to the others teams in the PL. I honestly think it's kind of cheating in many ways. Where would Spuds have been this year without Adebayor's goals, they didn't even pay for his full wages, while he was playing for them. The loan system is a complete sham iyam, I can live with it for developmental players under 21 as someone has suggested there but really would like to see the system abolished completely. -
Yeah absolutely fantastic season. Shame about the ending but can't complain at all with 5th in the PL. Now lets build on this and be consistently up there challenging for Europe.
-
What a limp way to go out this season, really.
-
5th is a damn good effort this season, but feels a bit of a let down right now

Damn you young bucks and your 12 stone stuff. I've been wearing an XL for ever since I remember going back to the first Addidas strip. I've not been under 200lbs (I'm too americanised now in the weight measurement dept) for about 10 years, did get down to 205 for last summer holiday, I am 6ft though, so not overly over weight, but could definately lose a lb or two. My mum is going to visit me this summer, I'm sure she'll bring with her a new shirt for me, she knows to buy XL.

I'm starting to believe we can win at Everton, that's all I really ask, that the team goes there and gets the win, if we don't obviously we can't finish in the top 4. But if we do win and the other results go against us then so be it, at least we would have given it our best shot.
-
The thing that's in our favour is the age of the squad, Colo is the only regular that has hit the 30 mark and as a CB that's not as much as a concern as other positions. All the stars are on long contracts too, so we are in a strong place right now. I think we can maintain it, if we lose one or more of our star men it'll make our task a lot harder but we've put ourselves in a position now to be able to cope, and there is no need for us to cash in unless a megabucks offer comes along, then I would hope we would be able to find adequate replacements. Important summer coming op for sure, transfer activity will probably shape the future for the club as either a top PL side or a one season wonder. I'm pretty confident right now that we'll come out of it as the former not the latter.
-
Come on Liverpool, win gaurentees us 5th at least. It will be sad if we end up behind Chelsea after the season we've had. Blackburn aren't gonna get a thing at Stamford Bridge.

Is there a link to a story about this "Cull" of reserves and youngsters, this is the second time I've heard that mentioned, but don't recall any reading anything about it.
-
Glimmer of hope then, but it's only a glimmer, anything other than a win a Everton now and it's over.
-
An injury time winner for Villa will put a lot of pressure on Spuds next week.

Got to buy a ticket if you want to win the lottery. We were at home, we've beaten manure here 3-0, no reason why we should hope for a similar performance.
