Initial response that's a pen

Lovely, keeper awful though, big deflection?

For a reasonable fee I would sign him to fill out the squad

Diane is just turbo crap

We have had plenty of chances in the last 5 mins or so

Should have scored really

We so miss Shelvey and Ritchie, no creativity at all

You can include me in that number, I was willing to give him a pass on the job at Manure, since Fergie left behind a bit of a mess tbh. But then the Sociedad thing happened and it started to look like he had lost what he once had, but maybe he just needed a British job again, then a month into his appointment he's already telling the world that his team is shite and in a relegation battle in August ! The results since have done little to change anyone's mind who believed he was washed up. He knows it too I think, that's why he's not walking out. He's not going to get another gig that'll pay him anything like what he's on right now, milk it for all it's worth and set yourself up for retirement.

They do deserve it, they are 10 points better off than us against the other 22 teams in the league They'll deserve it if they finish with more points than us, but in both games we played each other this season outside of a 20 min spell in the away game, we have been comfortably the better side. They've been excellent at putting away the weak teams, we've not been as clinical in that manner, that's why they are likely to be the champions.

Forgot we were playing tonight until I just checked the BBC site and saw this as an upcomming fixture, think everything else around the club with the promotion on Monday and the HMRC investigation has pushed this game to the back burner. Not sure what to expect from the team tonight, hopefully a win, keep up the slim chance at the title and I would rather Brighton have to win it than us handing it to them with a defeat or draw.

Personally, whatever Rafa wants, I'm OK with even if that meant bringing back Sissoko or even Mike fucking Williamson. Rafa knows more than any of us lot. As long as Rafa is dictating the recruitment, that's the important thing and is key to our future success and our ability to hang onto the guy.

Surely Sky will struggle to find a crying fan like they like to do, it's been probably one of the most obvious relegations in the history of the PL, it's just been a case of when. Have they been out of the bottom 3 at all this season ? Seems like they've been bottom of the pile practically the whole way.
-
He won't resign will here, be walking away from a pretty penny and unlikely now to get another chance at a PL club unless he can rebuild his rep in the lower leagues.
-
I honestly thought there was little chance they would lose this, but clearly they are toast, the fans know it, the manager has since August and obviously the players are in line. Good days.
-
They are safe now, expect the usual Fat Sam "job done, slow down" for the rest of the season. That's one reason why he's never achieved much beyond PL survival.

Always scores against us though, will be happy to not cross his path again.

Newcastle United lose Judicial Review against HMRC

Amazing isn't it. Managing Director of a top flight Football Club at that age, is pretty darn impressive to be honest. Obviously he was in the right place at the right time and kissed the right backsides, but he's been a hell of a lot more successful in his career than most of us and I'm sure most of us would like to be a penny behind him in the bank. -

Nah, f*** him off. We get to keep his bird though. He's worth more now than the agreed price last year, pretty sure of that, would be in our best interests if that deal is scraped. -

Could this effect the Thauvin "they must buy" deal ? We may get to keep him, which wouldn't be a bad thing at all. -

Oh fuck, we are going to get screwed here aren't we. Would be just our luck to take a points deduction which knocks us out of promotion, West Ham also take a points deduction and they get relegated, saving Sunderland's arse. -
For me it's been just an anxious slog to get to the finishing line, there have been some highlights like the 6-0 at QPR or that goal that Perez scored (which I'm shocked is not mentioned more) where he scored after about 30 passes right from kick off without the opposition touching the ball. Those two examples though highlight one of the biggest problems I have had with this season, being an exile I have to rely the bbc text feed, radio Newcastle or early in the season dodgy periscope for my ability to see that. On the rare occasion we were on TV we often chose those times to under perform. Just glad it's over and we are back, we can now sit and relax and watch the rest of the drama play out between who goes down and who wins the playoffs. This to me is the most enjoyable point of the season and it's borne out of sheer relief. Voted a 2.
