  1. Kinnear would be good DOF if we survive he earn that job...
  2. If people likes Whelan more than Ashley they need their head to be examin....
  3. he got what he deserve he was a total menace for this club he even had a great fight with Sir Bobby. in summer of 2004. He was writing shit player don't respect Sir bobby and stuff like that. He is utter shit and for once the Ashley regim did one thing right.
  4. The stupidest thread I ever saw since I join this fourm Four years ego......
  5. I think if he left us in the summer we don't miss anything. But in doing so he will lose his intugrity as a person just like Bullared did with Fulham.
  6. I would be delightful if he become our Manger. We need a legend like him as a manger he wont be worst than our last 5 mangers.
  7. Absloutly right it is called decison it seems all easy but it is a major factor in everything meaningful. They Fired Hollier in may and replace him with Bentize in June. Taking their time on the process. We fire Robson in September and hire Souness. the rest was history. I wish Ashley be sensable this coming summer and replace him by taking his time for about a month seeing every possible candidate the pros and cons.
  8. Ashley should sit down with him tomorrow and ask him what he wants for the next 9 games. give him total control of the club at least until the end of the season. This has to happen this Monday or else we are doomed.
  9. Only one person will pull out us from this mess. SHEARER.
  10. i think it is good boro scored cause geiving pomppy all 3 points is crazy.
  11. so worried today I feel sick. Some times I do wonder how on earth we end up in this position.
  12. Well in all honesty if we lose today we deserve to be in championship next season. We all know that but we can not admit it...
  13. Hull result was aweful. we really need to pick something there next week other wise things will be really grim.....
  14. 2145: "Manchester United nowhere near their best, but Sir Alex Ferguson and his players will only be concerned about getting the job done - and they have. Wayne Rooney was an inspiration tonight, and if it difficult to see how Chelsea or Liverpool can overhaul Manchester United now. Newcastle's fans give their team an ovation at the final whistle, which was deserved. They showed real character, but ultimately they were undone by a lack of class and a failure to make their early domination count - plus that moment of awful defending by Steven Taylor." 15. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/newcastle/3726188/Sebastien-Bassong-is-Newcastles-rock.html Bassong is Newcastles Rock Dennis Wise and Kevin Keegan might have had their differences of opinion at Newcastle United, but they found themselves in agreement on Sebastien Bassong. Bassong, in Keegan's words, was signed as "one for the future", but the defender has turned out to be very much for the present. He lines up against Portsmouth at Fratton Park this afternoon as Newcastle's man of the moment, having outshone even Michael Owen in recent games. Bassong – a product of the famous Clairefontaine football academy in France which also counts Thierry Henry and Nicolas Anelka among its graduates – arrived unheralded on a trial from Metz in July, and was quickly pitched into a pre-season friendly away to Doncaster Rovers by then-manager Keegan. In the Keepmoat Stadium stands that sunny afternoon was Wise, United's executive director (football), whose involvement in transfer dealings ultimately led to Keegan's departure in September. Both Wise and Keegan liked what they saw, with Bassong – an elegant and unhurried centre half – having strolled through his low key introduction to English football. So did the visiting fans, not that they knew anything about the man wearing the No 46 jersey. The PA announcer had chosen not to read either line-up, as Doncaster were fielding three triallists of their own, and the club were intent on keeping their identities secret. "If 46 scores, we'll be on the pitch", was one of many songs sung by those in the away end as their team slipped to a 1-0 defeat. Wise, meanwhile, slipped out early, having seen enough from the 22-year-old to convince him the club had found a player capable of breaking into its much-maligned defence. The chants from the 2,000 travelling Geordies might have been largely lost on him during the game, but Paris-born Bassong – who has since been given the more modest No 12 squad number – was quickly told of his new-found cult status in the dressing room after the game. "When I played at Doncaster, I didn't hear the songs, but I was happy to hear what the fans were singing after the match," said Bassong. "The fans have been very good to me, and it was a dream for me to come to England and play for them in the Premier League. Since then Bassong – whose city centre apartment affords him a view of the iconic Tyne Bridge – has gone from cult hero to mainstream Mr Reliable at St James' Park. However, he had to wait for his chance in the Premier League in his preferred central defensive position, having initially filled at full-back, but since getting that opportunity last month, Bassong has not looked back, putting in two imperious displays away to Middlesbrough and Chelsea. Bassong has helped Joe Kinnear's side to two clean sheets in those two fixtures, but today he is up against Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe who have shared 16 club goals between them this season. If Bassong can prove himself up to the job today he will be afforded a Merry Christmas from Newcastle's long-suffering support and he may yet prove to be one Wise legacy that everyone can appreciate.
  16. Sebastien Bassong. Great player and all-around f***ing genius. I am in love with him..... Beye should be our Captain next season with Vice Captain Seba....
  17. Sorry to say this but Keegan is stupid. He is selfish as well he could have quite earlier in the summer or he should have never taken the job. They explain to him the director of football scheme and everything. Because of his whatever reason we have a good chance of relgation this year and a monumental task to rebuild for the future.
  18. If we get 46 that means I don't know nothing about football. It is so false to say this and it shows how blind guy lead manage us at the momment.

    Peter Beardsley

So true I wish he involves in some capacity in the club.
  20. I never seen a player like him at this club who came in as squad player and become some one great player. All clubs have them but never in Newcastle.
  21. Our Back four is very promising at the momment and Enrique improved a lot. I like Bassong the best defender that I saw wearing black and white. I like Colo too its his first season and there is no injuries and every thing he will be better next year for sure in the mean time every team needs one like him. What we need is a combative midfilder and I hope the club will address that in the summer.
