Talk about Obertan all you want, but Ryan Taylor is unbelivably s***. So weak and slow. Just gifted away the ball then. Awful.

People love to whinge about Tiote giving the ball away, but it's usually because he's the only one looking to keep posession and play the ball on the ground. He's a huge miss.
They are nowhere near as patient with the ball though. Under any kind of pressure they just hoof it long.
We still have two good, passing midfielders, though.
-
Coloccini gets that ball and Guthrie and Cabaye are just standing there looking at him?! Move into some space for goodness sake!

Simpson, Ryan Taylor, Colo and Williamson live to punt the ball forward.

Footballer first, athlete second.
We'll revisit this discussion if and when an African side wins the reaches the last 4 of a World Cup.
France has already won the world cup numerous times.
Well, once is a number.
How many times has France been to the final four?
How quick is Gareth Bale?
Entirely pointless argument from all sides.
You're wrong! It's a sound argument!
I mean that big dopey African Demba Ba is a liability upfront for us. No technique.
We should do evcerything to get Andy Carroll back in there. Natural technique and footballing ability.
What has Demba Ba got to do witn France getting to the Semi Finals of the Coupe De Monde you loon
Duh! He grew up in France numbnuts!
HE plays for Senegal and my nuts are far from numb.
Yeah, but what does that have to do with anything if he gets his syrup from France?

And how could I forget his loyalty! So loyal, even to his very own club, in the place he was raised and grew up, dreaming of being their very own number 9!
Okay, I'm done playing this game now. Was fun though.

West Ham United have signed FC Dallas central defender George John on loan, with the option to make it a permanent transfer when it expires on 5 March.

Reckon this is linked to our interest of Tomkins? Could mean the way is clear for the transfer to take place now West Ham have found a replacement...
Saw that the other day. Thought it might be linked also.

Loyal Europeans.
Easy to be loyal when no one wants a no pace having, weakling!
-
Can hit the ball proper hard tho.
Typical African player, all athleticism and no technique.
Does this need a safety wink?
Makes up for all of the slow, weak Europeans.

What game is this?
Vs Sudan, pre-tourni friendly.
Ah right, cheers.

Forget the witness intimidating thing for one second. This guy doesn't turn up to training. Even Ranger manages that, albeit later than he should. This guy doesn't even show up. Which makes you wonder if he even cares about the game.
That would worry me the most out of anything else. If he happened to be someone who is really into the game, and just happened to maybe make some poor decisions off the pitch that would be one thing.
You would just hope that we have some background info into why it might potentially work for this kid at Newcastle.
-
Surprised they haven't played Pogba more. Saw him in one of their games, and he definitely looked talented. With all of their injuries in central midfield you would have thought he'd have got a chance. Must be so frustrating.

What game is this?

I'd love to see the reaction on here if we scored early on away to City and defended for the rest of the game, winning 0-1.
Biased little creeps.
Considering how much we dominated Man U in the last game, do you think it would have been a good idea to sit back after Ba's goal, and invite them onto us? Essentially what Liverpool did tonight, after having it so easy early on.
Yeah, because playing Man U at home is comparable to playing City away.
Come off it that City team was awful, home or not.
-
There is a MASSIVE GAP between having no attacking intent whatsoever and being Gung-Ho. A gap all of football tactics wide.
Precisely!

City looked rubbish, Liverpool looked worse but got a penalty and just defended from then on, pathetic attitude though.
Apparently it's because of that attitude they won
I agree with you though, almost threw it away due to their approach at the end.
They didn't take advantage of that Savic fella at all. Should have gone for the jugular, City ddn't look at all threatening till they invited them onto themselves.
-
Liverpool could have booked their finals place tonight, but they were gutless with that defensive crap. Will Yaya etc be back for the second leg?
-
Savic is playing a different game to everyone else out there.
