Man Utd 2023 ...
Johnny Evans, Sergio Reguillon and Anwar El Ghazi.
Nice. Very nice indeed.

I'm genuinely just asking because that's what it looks like to me.

What's with this trend on here recently of acting like morals are purely subjective? If there was no collective, objective morality we wouldn't have civilisations or laws, for a start.
Well everyone is now throwing out everything your civilisation and laws were based on? it's nothing you guys believe in anymore right?

I would count that as the craziest bit of over-pricing ever. It's immoral.
In a world where everyone makes up their own moral code, what exactly is moral?

Fair enough. Lovely first time pass from Thuram into Martinez who is sent through one on one. Instead of just slotting it past the keeper side footed he belts it past him. Great stuff.
what do you reckon of Yan Sommer? I always thought he was a very good keeper who should have got a move to a team like Bayern years ago. Surprised to see they’ve binned him off already and he’s in nets for inter.
Sommer looked a bit erratic for Bayern end of last season, which is why I think they weren't keen.

Aye aye fair enough. I didn’t know if you were watching it with the same commentators as the UK. Have you seen the second goal Inter just scored? A real classy move.Nah missed it, not watching that game.

No I mean which commentators did you have? I thought Dury was canny and so was Neville trying so hard to be impartial.Thought it was really cringe at the end on the Rice goal especially. My goodness.

Who did you have?Man, I wanted Arsenal to win.
I know some Man Utd fans that have been running their mouths about Newcastle.
They are about to have a terrible evening.

These commentators doing a great job of ruining that ending. Just shut up please.

And we beat this Aston Villa team 5-1. So are we now better than Liverpool?
Literally guys we will be absolutely fine.
Right?
Or maybe it means Emery is not 'elite'.
I wonder if Villa fans are questioning Emery's credentials and job status.

How can Liverpool be winning without a dedicated holding player?!
Probably the same way we did against Villa.

Yeah but we were to passive after the red card. Also gave the ball away far to easy several times.
Passive with the ball, yes.
However, I'm talking about the complaints that we weren't pressing them more aggressively.
Even with ten men, with the likes of TAA on the pitch and the forward players Liverpool still had, an all out press would still be risky business, especially as our defenders are not the quickest.

10 men
Yeah, and it was our play that got them down to ten men in the first place.

Yep for 60mil and ended up leaving Madrid on a free
My God. That was a little while back too, so that was a big fee.

And people were asking why we didn't press Liverpool aggressively when we played them.

Utterly absurd that there's no way to legally watch Liverpool V Villa, it's 2023 ffs.
Can't believe they are showing Palace Vs Wolves instead

Was it Frankfurt who made a fortune on Luka Jovic too?
Can't quite remember, but that does ring a bell. To Real Madrid right?

Only just seen that Kolo Muani cost PSG 95 million euros
the actual fuck. Prices really have gone absolutely insane.
He moved from Nantes to Frankfurt on a free last summer too

Was brilliant for Norwich in the Champo. Definitely looked far to good for that League at the time.
Was good for them one year in the Prem too.

Anyone dropping into half spaces is killing us at the minute.
Against these type of teams that excel at passing and exploiting the half spaces, we really need to consider looking to keep a more disciplined shape and look to counter them.

Starting to think Joelinton is better on the left tbh, but. much of that was how he linked with Willock and covers Burn. And we have about 4 potential left-wingers right now in Isak, Barnes, Gordon, Anderson, and Big Joe.
To the point raised, maybe a double pivot with Tonali and Bruno and then Gordon or Isak in the 10 role behind Wilson?. Barnes/Joelinton left. I trust Eddie will sort it out,
Anyone wanting him out needs a word.
Joelinton had a storming end to the season on the left and I think ended with 15 games total there and 7 goal contributions.
I thought because of it he might have been given that role as his primary one and then we'd bring in a proper DM and pushed Bruno up, but it didn't play out that way.
If going forward Gordon gets some opportunities on the right side and shines there then we'll have a chance to possibly make the adjustment, and have Joelinton and Barnes rotate on the left and Gordon and Almiron do so on the right.
That will then allow room for a more disciplined, athletic DM that is press resistant, and that can initiate play from the back, but without taking so many risks back there.
Unbelievably Youssouf Fofana did not move this summer. He'd be a great fit in that position IMO.

So weak from the ref. Responding to the crowd. Nothing wrong with the challenge.
