Man, this Ekitike is dumb. Now he wants the Premier League?

Replacing Kolo Muani at Frankfurt is a perfect next move to get back on track.

Then he'll have great options going forward. If he comes to the Premier League now, off the back of last season, think he'll flop hard, especially as it looks like it will be West Ham and Moyes style of play.

Iwobi making the correct decision to get out of Everton. He'll do well at Fulham.

I'm happy for Iwobi because Marco Silva's style is better suited to him.

I'm telling you right now though ... Everton are finishing top half with Beto and Danjuma coming in and with that midfield three.

I am absolutely livid they signed Beto. Going to be so depressing watching him shine for them.

DCL's injuries was the main problem and now that issue has been dealt with, with Beto coming in.

Almost certainly not. Have a couple for the future (Scarlett, Veliz) out on loan for a bit. If Brennan Johnson comes in then presumably it’s Son, Richarlison, Kulusevski, Johnson, Perisic and Solomon for the three positions up front.

You guys are doing some low key really good deals.

I think Brennan Johnson is fantastic on the right. Mostly played there his last Championship season if I'm not mistaken and he was very good. We were linked at the time before they sealed promotion and I wanted us to sign him.

As for Gallagher, he would likely play as the right sided number 8 in your midfield three, similar to the role he played at Palace. Just like back then I'd see him scoring goals from that position, especially with the likes of Maddison and Bissouma controlling the midfield.

I think people will be shocked at how well both do if you sign them. I'm not happy about you signing them at all.

Man this year isn't the one to worry about getting out of the groups or not, we're back in it for 20 odd years, we're playing some European heavyweights, and the Worlds best player is going to be coming to town.

Lets give it our best, and fucking enjoy where we are.

    I hear you man.

It would be so good for the teams confidence to have some joy in the competition though.

And even if we don't quite get out, at least going into the Europa League and having a chance at that would be awesome.

But anyways, I'm going to be enjoying it regardless, no question about that.

  5. Okay so here's my optimistic outlook ...

Milan and Dortmund have strikers that are bigger and not as mobile, which will suit our central defenders. I'm also not convinced their central midfielders are that great.

There's a world where we could finish second.

It's going to be very very interesting. At least it's a chance to really see how we stack up with some top European sides.

Wonder if that will cause any unrest behind-the-scenes for players like Mitoma etc.

They didn't pay a transfer fee for him as he is just on loan.

They're just covering his wages for the year.

So don't think this can be seen as Brighton paying higher wages than we do, or it being a situation that would cause unrest either.

I expect him to have a decent breakout season then get a good move next summer, he’s potentially far better than Everton and his attributes are well suited to the PL. If he avoids injuries and a copes with being in a shit side he can easily bag double figures in the league this season imo. Dyche will use him well.

He's an absolute monster man. Not gonna lie I was hoping we'd look at him as an option if Wilson isn't kept for next summer.

Everton have done exceptionally well there and the price for him was so good. No idea why someone like West Ham weren't all over that.

Just purely from his pace, power and leaping ability he will score goals. Dyche will get crosses into the box for him and the likes of McNeill, Iwobi and Danjuma will carry the ball in transition and play him in.

Think he's going to have a really good season. Really rate him especially for the Premier League.

Dennis had a purple patch for Watford but was bad. CHO? Barely got a kick at Leverkusen. A massive injury too. Never done it in the PL.

Would rather Johnson than both of these.

Yeah, I get that, but I don't thin losing Johnson and making do with some mixture of CHO and Elanga plunges them into a relegation scrap. Besides they'll probably add some other options too.
