Beto looks frustrating. A ball ache to play against as a defender, but (granted not even a game completed yet in the PL) at first glance looks fairly useless in front of goal.

    What?!

This man isn't watching the game.

Fan of that Beto. Looks a geet handful.

He's so good man. Such great general play. If they improve their delivery to him he will score goals too. Really enjoyed watching him at Udinese.

Haven’t seen much of him either at Everton or Villarreal. I wonder if it’s more to do with the the club he’s gone too than the player himself.

Looks very selfish and/or totally unaware of what is around him. Also looks like his touch lets him down at times. Passing has been poor too. All on him. If anything he's the one that has messed Everton up this game.

His good year at Villarreal he was played as a striker and that probably suits him better, because his general play looks really bad.

Ashamed to say that I wanted us to sign Danjuma.

Man, can't believe how poor he's been. Has cost Everton two great chances to score.

He'll end up on the bench for McNeil or Jack Harrison ultimately.

Sometimes you need to pad out the squad. Like how Villa have signed Lenglet or Zaniolo(sp?) or Brighton with Fati. Or Man U and their left back. But we seem happy to go with Murphy and Lascelles and co. so let’s go.

Villa have an option to buy Zaniolo outright. This is the only type of deal we would have looked at if it was possible for a player we wanted.

Lenglet was deemed really poor at Spurs and Villa have only signed him as an emergency cover for Mings.

Reguillon is a a Spurs reject that is again emergency cover because Man Utd have no fit left backs.

Fati is a nice pick up for Brighton but they will not be able to keep him because Barcelona only wanted a loan for a year.

So unless we are looking for emergency cover with players that aren't very good, or are happy to loan players to improve for other clubs, none of those deals are particularly enticing.

They wanted another creative player. Failed with Kudus.  Got someone else on loan.

We don’t seem to want to plug gaps in the squad with loans.

We won't do loans anymore for players that we aren't looking to buy, so an obligation or option to buy would have to be included. Those days are long gone where we loan players for their parent clubs to benefit.

Ehh maybe, he’s pretty hit or miss in front of goal. 10 goals in serie A, 25, not sure he’s spurs level. He’s decent and a really good signing for the Ev, but yeah not sold on him being at that level

He was injured some of last season. The season before his numbers were better.

Also the Italian league is more defensive and Udinese aren't just okayish as a team.

Anyway, I'm calling it now. In the Prem he is going to show his stuff.

Odd one that, wasn't a lot of the rationalisation on their fan's part for selling Hall that they had him and Potch potentially rated him more. Does that just leave them with Chilwell who's injury prone, and Cucurella who's shite and who they were trying to offload to Man U? ???

Yeah, weird one. Chelsea fans love him.

Looks like he was refusing to sign a new contract and might just have a year left.

You’re not the only one that wished we had been in for Beto, he’ll be one of if not the best lowkey signing this window in the PL imo. If Wilson was a year or two older that deal really would have been perfect for us.

Yeah, man. Sometimes I really don't understand how scouting works at these clubs.

Everton paid just £26 million for him. That guy is good enough to have gone to Spurs or West Ham this summer. Would have been a great replacement for Mitrovic at Fulham too.

Everton in their current predicament have done very well to get him.

It’s ok. You’re a wealth of football knowledge, my man. Love it. Just find it funny when you get all excited over deals to other teams!

I'm just excited about the players really, because I rate them.

And so when I say I'm livid about them going elsewhere I'm using the term loosely.

I'm not stewing over the fact we haven't gone for them or anything like that. We're doing our own thing as a team and I like what we're doing too.

    what?

id have looked for your insight like I normally do. And yea, that’s my point tho - other teams can have good players, my point is im not upset. Cool, good signing. Move on.

(you said livid the other page!) about Beto to Everton and not us. Haha.

Not sure I understand, but okay.

Kaka, I love your football knowledge but you got some right odd obsessions and irks about other teams and players. Livid about Beto. Drooling over Brennan to Spurs.

    chill my man!

Bro ... I just like football and really rate certain players.

Couldn't give a shit about what team they have gone to or who they play for.

I get the feeling you wouldn't have said anything if they had signed for us and I said what I did.

It's okay bro, other teams can have decent players too.

Come on man, he played against the bottom of league two.

I've been watching that man at Udinese. Was desperate for us to sign him.

His pace, power and heading translates at every level. He is so well suited to the Premier League.

Let's wait and see. None of us are going anywhere.

If my guy Awoniyi has been able to cause the problems he has ... I already know what's coming with Beto.

We are all going to be sat here watching it all transpire.

Go and watch the highlights of what that monster Beto was doing when he came on.

That Everton squad is much better than anything Dyche ever had at Burnley.

Once the team settles they are going to be terrible to play against.

    Cracking Up Lol GIF

Dyche was getting into Europe with that Burnley side right?

Beto, DCL, Gueye, Doucoure, Onana, McNeill, Danjuma ...

If they don't get a ton of injuries or anything weird like that, just you watch.

Palace are now favourites to get him

Ah, okay. Palace is a bit better, but still not sure it's the right call.

Kolo Muani went from Nantes to Frankfurt and blew up after a year, that's a great blueprint to follow, as they will give Ekitike that starting spot.
