Just realised their final game is at home and so they have to show up in front of their fans after this awful final performance. Villa are going to be going full pelt too as they are chasing Champions League qualification. Boy is that going to be an incredibly toxic atmosphere.

The number of Man United fans that have been running their mouths about how they were going to win because of heritage. And of course, because Spurs always bottle finals. Only to get all the way to the final to lose to them man. So glorious. The Man United content the next few days is going to be so so good.

I have to say, I was one of those that didn't want Spurs in the Carabao final. Had a bad feeling they would have managed to fluke a result on the day. Don't know why. Instead we went in as underdogs and upset Liverpool. Fantastic to see Man Utd be the ones to get upset in a final by Spurs instead

No matter. You managed to grind it out. Loved the Danso sub to join the other centre backs. Felt fairly confident when Ange made that sub.

Spurs win their fourth match this season against Man Utd. Did it with no Madison and Kulusevski too. Thank you Spurs. So many insufferable Man Utd fans I won't have to deal with now. I am very very grateful!

That Spurs team has a lot of work rate and running in it. Wouldn't be surprised if Man Utd struggle with that, as they are a bit of a plodding side. Going to be interesting.

He wouldn't be starting there or playing a significant number of games there. Moreso an option if the team is stretched due to injuries etc. More about having more players that can fill in at different positions to a serviceable standard at least, when needed. The bigger issue for me is how he'd fit into the starting 11 if we bought him. Ideally, it would have to be down the left side, which would mean Gordon/Barnes playing more down the right. Not sure that's in the clubs thinking. I was wondering the same with the Cunha links too, and how he'd fit in.

We usually play our left sided 8 further forward in support of the striker, sometimes also overlapping down the left. That's the role I am talking about, which Willock usually plays when he's in that position.

There was an article a couple of weeks back saying we'd be happy to pay the £60 million for Cunha due to his versatility, as he could play a number of roles in our system. Joao Pedro is a version of that type of player also, and so maybe it's the same thinking. We've liked him for a long time too. In our system he can operate upfront, left, right, and as an 8 too. His positions played chart over his career:

Yeah, I was at the game yesterday and we had to score during that early period. Their crowd was really nervous and quiet during that phase, and they were starting to get on the players' backs. If we had scored it would have got toxic and I think they would have folded. Not sure how it looked on TV, but Tino had to do better the two times he was set up perfectly. Didn't strike it well enough the first chance after a brilliant back heel from Gordon, and that outrageous play by Botman to carry it forward and thread him through, he doesn't go with enough conviction once he gets the ball. Really frustrating. Raya's save from Barnes deflected shot was really good too. Couldn't believe he got fingers on it. Was sat behind that goal and it looked a certain goal.

It's getting spooky PSG and Spurs next.

Getting shut out by Southampton and Palace in back to back games is pretty shocking really. Pep in the mud.
