With all these clubs that have more room to spend and that throw money around more freely, more and more of their young talent will be wanting out as there is no lane for them to get a fair shot in the first team. It's something we should always be looking to exploit, provided the fees make sense and are not outrageous. Especially because Howe has shown time and time again he is so good at bringing these players along and getting them to perform at a high level.

When that PSR drama was kicking off and Gordon to Liverpool was in discussion, apparently he was the priority initially as part of the deal but Liverpool refused, and so Gomez was then the alternative.

Don't think that's clear yet. Young and English with some experience , so likely around what we paid for the likes of Gordon and Tino. So around £40 million if I had to hazard a guess. Anything more than that would be a joke.
