Osula has completely rattled them. Such good strength and ability on the ball.

Get in Callum. Nice ball across from Tino. Nice ball to play Tino in from Longstaff to be fair. Osula causing problems. This boy can play.

Longstaff is so painful to watch.

Really good from Wilson and Osula. Good thing for Willock they gave that goal. The follow up miss was disgraceful.

Will be a really interesting watch to see how Wilson looks and gets on, playing from the outset. And especially to see how Osula gets on down the right side. Very intriguing.

If they're happy with the progress Osula is making, and truly envisage him as a viable option next season then could see this happening.

Felt bad for Ruud tonight. Deserved better. After rocking up and schooling Amorim tactically, with far lesser players. Not to mention now managing the team he so easily dispatched twice while standing in at Man United. I don't even know what to make of what is going on with Man United anymore. They are so poor it's untrue. The whole thing is such a disaster.

This is why when people whine about VAR being tedious and spoiling things, I'm just not having it. These refs just by nature will always give decisions to these so called 'big teams'. There's something inherently wrong with them. The blatancy of the kind of decisions they'd be getting wrong would be unbearable.

Can you imagine how delighted we'd all be right now knowing we had Botman and Huijsen as the long term centre back partnership. With the battle tested veterans Burn and Schar as backups. Would have been an amazing position to be in.

The more money clubs have the more risk averse they become, and so they look for guarantees which cost big money. And when that doesn't pan out it comes at a huge cost. Man Utd are the poster boys for this. Pogba, Lukaku, Maguire, Mount etc. There's often this belief that they'll come in and do well as a given but that's not always true. Probably better off buying more of the more affordable talent you like, that you can easier move on if they don't pan out, and also that you are in position to replace because you haven't blown huge sums already.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of their style of play. Think Openda would be wasted in their setup. He's really good though. I'm sure other teams are looking at him.

They never look to get players in behind with any urgency. Arteta is a disciple of the 'control freaks' school of football that means they end up going against deep blocks. Think they want someone with more presence. With Haaland's recent success, that's the kind of stature they'll be after, as he'll be copying that too from Pep. Havertz is tall for nothing. Doesn't take advantage of it at all.
