Yeah, every manager is different. Some are better than others at dealing with these sorts of players. Like @SUPERTOON said, he's going to have that many options, he'll be able to alternate them based on who's performing well at the time.

Their style of play also utilises speed and ball carrying effectively in their transitions. They are going to have a lot of that available, with bodies to come on when others are floundering. Emery also appears to have the temperament to deal with 'characters' let's call them. Thought he handled Duran well. Even at Arsenal he also managed Aubameyang well, who Arteta was quick to jettison. Danjuma at Villarreal, who has done nothing outside of his really good stint with Emery. Tielemans looked heavy and slow when he first joined and was hardly used but has turned it around. From a competitive standpoint that is the concern. I think Emery is quite comfortable working with these types, and it's exactly why they are going for them.

Villa are bringing in some decent talent. If Emery can get them going, it's a significant step up in quality. Thought Malen looked dangerous when he came on today. Between Malen, Rashford, Asensio and Felix that could pay off massively if they click.

He's been shutting everyone down on that side the majority of the season. He's been excellent defensively.

Should be keeping a close eye on how he gets on and consider a move in the summer. His contract is up in December.

£15 million with add ons and a sell on clause is really good. With Botman and Krafth returning without any setbacks we have a lot of defenders available. Lascelles will eventually join too. It's a great opportunity for Kelly and with all of their injuries he will actually play more over there. For all the shit the guy got, he will soon be playing for Juventus in the Champions League, and has made us a £15 million plus profit in 6 months. Good for him.

I have long tired of him doing this to the extent he does. The question is, why is he not being instructed to try and move the ball quicker. Especially when we are getting closed down aggressively or quickly. Joelinton also has an issue with this. But still it continues.
