Literally everyone we’re fighting against have dropped points this weekend while we battered Man Utd. What a fucking time to be alive
This season is really going to be one to cherish for a very long time. Been so much fun.

Good result. Stay ahead of them with a significantly better goal difference and two games in hand. Lovely.

Spurs are still shite post Conte.
They've gone and left his dopey staff there, and judging by that showing will be the same old Spurs.

Spurs are doing everything possible to actually lose this

Fair play to Keane coming back from that horrific challenge to lash that in a few moments later!

Horror tackle man. My God.

We have two games in hand on Spurs and they will only be ahead by two points.
Could still see Everton scoring here though. Spurs are tragic.

Spurs are so completely and utterly shit. The worst side I’ve seen that is this close to CL football at this stage in the season. Just a bunch of snide fucks
It's so undeserved that what makes this even more annoying. They are pitifully bad.

My God man ... I would be exploding with rage if I were an Everton supporter

Everton now packing their defence hopefully makes things even harder for Spurs now as they have no creativity in midfield. Hope it does them in.

RAMOSRAMOSRAMOSThink he's done too well now unfortunately. Will be really expensive and would expect to be in the first team.
Both Isak and Wilson will still be here and so any striker that comes in will likely be a younger prospect with a decent amount of experience that is an all rounder like Isak as that seems to really fit the 4-3-3 setup.
Think it is most likely Joao Pedro. Have also been seeing a number of links to Folarin Balogun. Considering the leg work done for Ekitike, maybe we do a loan deal initially to see if he's got his head screwed on right? Will be very interesting.

When we went for him we were offering around £45,000 a week.
PSG came in and went and agreed a contract of around £81,000 a week with him.
Tough situation. Fair amount of money to pony up with how things have gone for him.
Likely going to have to go out on loan initially and prove himself.

Don't know if Man U just handled him badly or he was just on it today, but he fully justified Howe's faith in him. I was a bit frustrated in the first half when he kept cutting inside, but he did start mixing it up better as the game went on.
Against teams that are attacking, I think he'll always look better, as there'll be more space in general for him to exploit.
Against teams that double up against him and sit in a low block he tends to struggle to have as much of an impact.

They have no shame man
Hope Brighton charge them £50 million this time around, if they go for him.

Paid more attention to him yesterday than I normally would.
Can definitely see the attributes he possesses that Howe would like. His physicality is really good and he’s a fairly strong ball carrier.
As has been pointed out elsewhere, they did get completely overrun in midfield but I thought he was the best of a bad bunch.
So I could see him fitting into our squad quite nicely, but once the price starts going upwards of £20m/£25m, you’d have to start questioning whether those kind of resources would be better spent elsewhere.
I thought Willock's interview post match was very telling, when he talked about Howe building an athletic dynamic side and him wanting the number eights to get into the box in support of the striker. I think this looks especially dangerous now with Isak dropping into space, keeping possession and linking play, which allows the eights to get forward.
I think if McTominay comes in, it ill be as another eight that bombs up and down the pitch in that manner, with and without the ball, and gets in the box like he did in the two Scotland games. We have also been linked with Khephrem Thuram, who I watched over the weekend again for Nice, and he is another that has this type of game, although he is more technical and cute with his passing. Kouadio Kone is another we've been linked with that is similar, as is Connor Gallagher.
I like the setup. Think I'd lean more to that approach, and keep Bruno as the deeper playmaker that can also pick his moments to get forward, like he did on the first goal when Isak found him with the pass that opened things up.

He's helped evolve the way we play with the number eights running off him.
Makes the 4-3-3 we are playing so much more dangerous going forward.
Him dropping into space to receive the ball, maintain possession and link play before then getting into the box with the number eights who have gone forward off him when he dropped, is absolutely vital.
We need another younger striker with similar traits that can rotate with him going forward. Probably be Joao Pedro.

Think spending £50 million on a left back would be such a waste with how much still needs adding to this squad.

This Chelsea thing is incredible ... they have spent £600 million on players and so far Enzo and Badiashile look good, and not even necessarily outstanding.
The most exciting of the signings has probably been Felix but he's only on loan. Genuinely struggling to understand how they did such a poor job with that £600 million.
It's absolutely delightful all of this. The pressure to now get the next manager appointment right is immense. And it's looking like it will be a very tough decision, as I don't see any guarantees out there, especially with how messy things are at the club.

Potter to Leicester.
Rodgers to Spurs.
Nagelsmann to Chelsea.

West Hama are such a rotten watch. Unacceptable considering the players they have.

Just seen Danjuma on the bench man
What a shocking decision to go to them on loan. Has he even played? Bringing on Moura ahead of him, only for him to get sent off. Spurs
