I know we've had some really annoying draws, but we're 26 games into the season and we've only lost 3 (THREE) games.

    Doesn't even make sense

He was being serious at first and was angry.

Then he realised he didn't want the hassle so said it again but in a joking way and clarifying it was a joke.

I'm glad he's no longer here, I thought he was poor as usual this evening.

No he wasn't man. Stop fabricating stuff.

He played hard tonight, and was clearly motivated going up against his former team mates, and probably wanted to get one over on them and show his commitment against his former team for the home fans.

No big deal. Good test that we passed with flying colours.

Looks so much better out wide IMO. Really good performance tonight

Yeah, played that season at Bristol Rovers on that side and so just has more first team experience there and it showed.

Think he'll still prove to be quite versatile as he continues to develop, which will be valuable.

Imagine once he has a season under his belt with his team mates. Easily 20+ a season.

Not to mention having had a full pre season next time around, and with more quality coming into the team.

One of the hardest things was always going to be getting a younger star upfront to lead the club resurgence, but we nailed it man.

There were folks whinging about him not being a goal scorer when we signed him too, and some insinuating we paid too much!

    :yao:

Was incredibly irritating at the time, for anyone that had actually seen a fair bit of him play. His style is so well suited to the Premier League.

Got an awful feeling this lad has bigger aspirations. Give him £300 grand a week.

Some of you lot need therapy man. So damned neurotic

Really thrilled with the comeback. Thought we dominated and deserved to win.

I have to say though, I’ve never felt so disenchanted with the rules of the game. Played myself for years and not sure I understand the rules as they stand. VAR adds nothing to the game for me.

You just have to fight through the decisions with VAR etc, and I love that we did that. It's ultimately screwing everyone over at one point or the other and you almost have to prepare your teams for it, so that they don't let it throw them off their game.

His stride length is mad, just watched back the first goal him breaking into the box, he’s there in a few strides.

Yeah, I was watching that as well when they played it back. He is just gliding across the pitch, made up so much ground to get in that position, so rapid.

Like many, I was getting exasperated at the reluctance to start with this guy, but I'm now starting to think that Eddie may have played a blinder. He's protected the guy from aggravating his injury, increased his fitness, given him time to integrate, but also fuelled the guy's motivation to prove himself and nail down his place. Given his talent, I think Isak has slightly underachieved in his career, but I wonder if Eddie has now created a bit of a monster.

Absolutely, it was the same thing he did with Bruno when he first came in, and you could see it meant that Bruno came in straight away with a bit of fire in his belly.

Folks just need to let Eddie do his thing. He's a boss.

I’m incredibly grateful we haven’t got a Bruce type here who would be trying to bulk him up. He’s so elite and dynamic

Yeah, no need for that at all. He's a fluid modern striker that finds spaces to get involved in play, as well as still get in the box to finish. He's wiry strong too and competitive, and so doesn't get pushed around at all.

So satisfying, what a horrible bunch they were. Fucking get in

I appreciate a team being that difficult and nasty though, we need to be able to overcome all sorts to really reach our potential.

Absolutely brilliant show of character and resilience today to come back and win like that away from home, with Almiron and Joelinton not available.

What a brilliant start to the weekend!
