  1. Really interesting, I remember when it was clear the choice was between Newcastle and AC Milan, and some people were convinced that he'd choose to live in Milan, and I argued that the Prem was a huge pull for a lot of players, especially those that had seen their country men do well there and make a big name for themselves. Think it is hugely over stated that players will just move to a club based on what the city they live in is like, a lot more than that comes into it. They're not going over there for a holiday, all that can be done in the off season.

I had a massive punch up on field with a lad who had fouled me the entire match. I decided I was just gonna chop him down, he got up and we got into a fight.

He’s a really good friend now.

I can't tell you how often I've seen that sort of thing happen with teammates. Always end up being really good friends

It was a comment with a bit of needle by Schar, so I just reckon he'll just need a bit of time to soften up to Gordon.  That's all.  Hardly a wild theory

I also said a "bit of a grudge" and you've just exaggerated that to a grudge.

    My God

You have clearly never competed in any sport man

Do you have any idea how often that sort of thing even happens between team mates at practice/training?!

How long ago was that match even? You really think he's still caught up on that moment? Even though he himself said it was no big deal? I think that's ridiculous!

Honestly fancy that Schar has needed convincing and still carries a bit of a grudge.  PR overdrive getting this quote out.  Club is so good at it now.

You're just making stuff up in your head.

I'd wager that Schar is just stating it how it is.

Holds a grudge and needed convincing, for goodness sake man. My God

Really like a lot of Chelsea's signings. They're betting the house that transfer fees continue to go up (hence spend big now), but I reckon it will pay off.  They'll also recoup a fair whack on Lukaku, Havertz, Sterling, Pulisic, Hudson-Odoi etc. Definitely a method to the madness.

I think people like the signings because they are decent on FM!

However, looking at what they've done, I'm not sure what kind of side they are building, and how it is all going to come together.

They have a lot of athletic widemen that will want to run with the ball, but their CM and AM positions seem to lack players that can control a game and open up teams. Enzo is probably the only one that has some of that to his game.

Not ideal for a Potter side. Think they will struggle to play the kind of football he has typically been known for.

This boy has never looked the part when I have seen him for the national team, tbh. He reminds me of myself on the pitch, just seems slow of both foot and mind for the modern game.

However, he's constantly scored for Genk, can clearly finish, and as probably the tallest player in the league, will be a threat aerially at least. Will be interested to see how he does.

At last the big man gets a chance.

Just due to his size and goal scoring record in Belgium I thought someone in the Prem would have taken a punt on him previously.

Not the prettiest on the eye, but the guy is an awkward customer to deal with. Would not be at all surprised if he had an impact for them.
