Upset the dressing room.
Are we just filling in the blanks about his character?
He's also only 21, so when people talk about "he's not this, he's not that", he's got loads of time to improve.
There's been posts saying he would be the biggest mistake of the new regime so far.
Some posts have said categorically that he isn't good enough and won't add anything to help the team push on the rest of the season.
All stated so matter of factly as if they could ever be certain about such things. We'll see. I think it's going to be a laugh coming back to this thread at some point.

Right bunch of flannels in here like. He’s obviously a twat, but surely we can trust the club in what they see.
It's become quite apparent that Howe still isn't really trusted by a fair few, which is astonishing really.

I mean Ziyech played a full World Cup and has been involved in all the Chelsea squads since his return, he’s also got proven ability. Surely a loan deal till the summer then we reassess targets depending on where we finish is a sensible play?
I don't see it with him I'm afraid.
At the World Cup, the stand outs for Morocco where Ounahi and Amrabat.
He's mostly played for Chelsea recently due to injuries and he hasn't really done anything, even in a team with a fair amount of quality in it.
We'd be lucky if he stayed fit playing with the intensity we do, and even if he did I'm just not sure he contributes much at all.

Cool, is he another Guarang Kuol type signing for the future that perhaps goes out on laon, or do folks think he sticks around and contributes?

Again it’s because a loan deal for him is less of a risk than big money on Gordon.
Less of a risk to loan an often injured player that is poor and is unlikely to contribute anything of note ... so what is the point exactly?
At the very least, Gordon is a far better and more dynamic athlete, who presses far better and with more intensity, and who has a ton of room to grow under Howe, with youth on his side.
I disagree completely!

I’d certainly take this deal :
With all of the complaining about Gordon I find it quite unbelievable that quite a few people want Ziyech.
The guy is either always injured or performing poorly. He also has no upside as he's what, 29 years old?!
I don't understand what people see in this guy. I think people are just drawn to popular names they've heard often enough. It's very very strange.

Really? Only seen him linked with Leeds.
Apparently was offered to Prem clubs, and Arsenal, Villa Leeds and Newcastle were all interested. Lookss like it will be Leeds though.

Apparently Weston McKennie is available on an initial loan and then a £22 million fee if made permanent, and we're in the mix.
Never mind ... Team USA Leeds seem to be closing in on him. Think he would have been a great pickup. Oh well.

Trippier 8 Burn 5? Woof, that’s harsh on Burn and not anywhere near where I’d have Trippier
Yeah, thought Trippier had some very dodgy moments defensively and he gave the ball away in dangerous areas a few times. Looked shaky.

The tie's not over by any means. Definitely need another switched on, professional performance, hopefully with much improved finishing.
Joelinton should have a hattrick really and it should be dead and buried with us going back with a 4 or 5 goal lead. Pope was brilliant, with another keeper that's potentially an absolute sickener of a result.
Pope: 10
Trippier: 8
Schar: 8.5
Botman: 7.5
Burn: 5
Bruno: 8
Longstaff: 5
Willock: 5.5
Joelinton: 8
Wilson: 5
ASM: 8
Isak: 8
Love Nick pope. Potentially in big trouble if not for him.

Really wasn't.
Made some poor decisions with the ball at key moments and was just really sloppy.
That last move where he could have set it for Isak to shoot and he didn't was just really dumbfounding.
The whole team was quite sloppy and wasteful today and so perhaps it is a bit harsh singling him out.

We've got one foot in the final, find some happiness in that man
It's a good result. just wish we'd have killed off the game today. It was right there to be had. Could have easily won this 3 nil.
Team is in very good shape to go through now though, no doubt.

Longstaff was shocking today man. So annoying.
-
Argh, should have lifted it over him Isak man. Unlucky.
-
Some of the football we've played today has been rotten.
-
Longstaff should have just laid that for Isak to fire. So annoying.
Murphy with the impossibly dumb shot.
-
Can't believe how bad our passing has been today.
Hope we can get a second and end these lot today man.
-
My God Isak is going to be so good man.
Love how he drops into space and moves into the channels to make things happen.
-
If this stands after they disallowed Joelinton's man
-
My God that was sexy from Isak. Absolutely beautiful work down the channel.

The poster who regularly complains about others being hysterical
Genuinely think it's been awful. So wasteful up until just then!

This performance has been disgusting.
Only Nick Pope has played well.

Nick Pope man ... what a God send this guy has been.

Think this guy will look really good in the faster and more open Premier League and will suit Leeds style of play. Great business for them.
