Simple cutback to Gundogan or Nunes just then and Foden just floats it randomly across. Awful.
-
Can tell Nketiah was faffing about at Arsenal for too long. Doing fancy flicks and finishes in training and never playing. What kind of daft finish attempt was that? Golden chance to get off the mark, just pass it into the net dummy.
-
Good if it annoyed him and fired him up. He then responded by doing better, which was the right way to react, and he could then enjoy his celebration letting everyone know about it.
-
They should be giving Rafa a call.

Yeah, I agree. Me, I love good defending and good defenders, and so I really like Tino. Got great height, speed, strength and athleticism at full back. He has all the attributes and stamina to be a threat going forward too, and just needs to work on his final ball. There was a point with Trippier where he was giving away so many chances at the far post defensively, and those have all been shut down since Tino came in. He's a beast defensively. I can't really remember the last left winger that really caused us major problems since he came in.

Arsenal fans are going through it this season man. Man City finally fall off and they've chosen this year to drop off too, with Liverpool and Chelsea looking to take advantage instead. No surprise they are losing their minds completely.
-
To be fair, as good as Hall is going forward, I think Tino isn't far off, but from a defensive stand point. And this is often easier to overlook.

Forest back in the top 4.

Considering his output last season and how much of a threat he looks when they bring him on, it's really weird he doesn't start games for them this year.
-
That's brilliant from Anderson.
-
Yeah on that angle they drew the lines they needed to go back a frame or two. I noticed that as well!
-
Absolutely. He's a true orchestrator and conductor. Love that he urges and directs the rest of the team too. Bruno tends to want to take more risks on the ball and with the ball, and has always said he prefers to play further forward, and so it's good to have finally arrived here with both.
-
On the Isak one on one where he should have scored, the through ball from Joelinton is brilliant, but it all comes from the early ball from Tonali to Joelinton high up the pitch in space to thread the pass. Perfect example of how his quicker play will put us in position to open up teams more often.
-
Yeah, if that ever happens, we can actually target more of a goal scoring/creative third midfielder. Tonali at the 6 position is certainly the way to go.
-
There will always be moments defensively, and the Liverpool game recently was rough, but he has shown improvement in general this season defensively, and I was very sceptical. The team being poor this season has allowed some room to play through it without as much pressure, as there have been lots of other issues, which has benefitted him. Going forward he is very very good.
-
Wonder where we'd be if he had been in midfield from the outset. Still hard to believe he was playing behind Longstaff early on, considering his quality. Even up until recently, there was still support for that.
-
Very very good! As Gordon settles back into some form and consistency on the left now, I think some serious combinations are going to start developing. More to come still.
-
Yeah, as good as Bruno is at holding onto the ball and moving away from pressure, I always felt he would sometimes over indulge in that when in that deeper position. Really like the way Tonali moves the ball so quickly.
-
Really good to see us start with that midfield, and just leave Gordon in his starting position today. Need to commit to that as our starting lineup and if needed make subs from there, so we can build up some familiarity and consistency now. Nice one Eddie
-
I love that part of his game so much, especially in that deeper position. Gives us more urgency.

Sandro Tonali the Maestro.

Arsenal are such a disgrace man. Draw at home to Everton when Liverpool are looking like dropping points. Chelsea win tomorrow and they make up more ground on Liverpool. Making a more convincing challenge.
-
They have a bunch of injuries to be fair. Just really nice to see us take full advantage, comfortably.

Agree. Just maybe not go too early with all the subs
