Think Potter was close to joining them at one point, so maybe they go back to him.

Robertson has been terrible.

The state of this man in the goal.
-
The goalie is a lunatic.

Really wanted us to sign Szoboszlai when we were linked while he was at Leipzig. Glad that didn't happen. He is so underwhelming a lot of the time. Doesn't do anywhere near enough in an attacking sense. Even the goal today had to be handed to him.

Fraser, Dibling and Armstrong did really well there.
-
Liverpool have been surprisingly casual here. Not taking this game seriously enough at all.
-
Missed the replay of that Lallana tackle earlier. That's a red.
-
Nunez just casually having a kip in the box mid game.
-
This Dibling kid is really good.
-
That's so bad from Robertson.
-
I feel like this happens with Lallana every time he starts a game.

Can we please buy Kelleher.
-
Szoboslai finally does something. Great finish.

He's pretty ordinary and can obviously be a threat if you can get some decent delivery into the box. Think carthorse is a bit harsh though
-
They've been doing a poor job of that lately though. So will be interesting to see how that goes.

Ideally I think we should have three strikers. If Osula makes big strides and looks a viable rotation option with Isak, then the third striker would have to be someone that is almost more of an emergency option. Pretty much the only role Wilson could fill. In my world he would have been gone already.

Toney and Shearer were still young like you say. Lavia, Palmer and Delap all went straight to other Prem teams and are performing at a high level. Very poor decision making. Especially when they don't really have any other clear alternatives.
-
Yeah, I really like the look of him a lot. They were unlucky with his injury.
-
That is horrendous! Looks like they're playing that towering 6 ft 7 Nigerian striker they signed from Belgium a few years back and then hardly used. Should be an entertaining watch.
-
Yeah, especially after allowing Alvarez to leave. Ridiculous stuff. Regarding Palmer he's far more creative than Foden, and would have been more of a natural alternative to DeBruyne. Foden can't play that kind of role. Kovacic is a really more of a box to box midfielder too and doesn't really play that holding role as well as Lavia does.

If Osula really comes along second half of the season and starts looking a threat and a viable option, then going with him and Isak next year, with Wilson as a cheap, extra experienced option when he's available could make some sense I guess.

The funny thing about this whole Man City business is how irresponsible they've been with some of their young talents that would be big time contributors and options for them right now. They currently have no young, energetic alternatives to their key players Rodri, DeBruyne and Haaland. And recently have given away Lavia, Palmer and Delap. None of who really got enough of a chance. Imagine those three being brought through in their squad right now.

Even Timo Werner is cooking them!!!
