I was thinking this too. Probably the best option. Shelvey against their midfield would get caught out too much, especially with him just coming back from injury.

Sometimes wish we'd also consider dropping Miggy in there in midfield and maybe bringing Fraser on out on the right.

Really quite astonishing the drop off in our midfield's competitiveness with Joelinton going off.

Really need to get another energetic midfielder at some point.

He had to go off with that yellow though.

Ideally it would have been Longstaff to come off, but Joe had some dodgy tackles and wouldn't have lasted through this half the way it was looking.

The bollocking worked. Good to see Murphy try to play that early even if he didn't quite get it right. Good initial run too.

Love the sub at halftime because Joe was definitely going to get sent off. Seems a bit off the pace since coming back from injury.

Looking forward to seeing Willock in the LCM position as I hear he has looked better on that side. Missed his last couple of games when he started there.

Murphy has all the tools and had a nice cut in and shot, but always wants to do the most complex thing possible when the easy simple option is on. Was delighted when Callum shouted at him for not playing that ball first time. He needs to keep getting in his face about silly stuff like that. 

Decent performance, but don't feel comfortable at all. 

We really need to get the next goal. This Everton team is so scrappy man.

Bruno always puts the ball in such a nice spot for him to not have to adjust too much.

Once it's in a comfortable position for him to just use his left foot without thinking too much he always strikes it well. Really does have a sweet left peg on him.

It's interesting, but I actually wonder if his finishing would be better coming onto the ball from his stronger right hand side.

Would be interesting to see him in the RCM position at some point.

Going to be a tough situation come the end of the season if he ends up being out injured a lot.

Was looking for a new contract this summer and I have no doubt he would have got it the end of this season, with the way he was beginning to perform, however, if he has a bad year fitness wise, not sure if he gets the kind of offer he'll be after.

Guy can't be missing this many games going forward.

I think this guy will be okay. Not surprised he's ended up with some niggles early on.

He came in quite late and so didn't have any pre season with us, and he came from a club that played a much slower tempo of football. 

On top of that he had to get involved quite quickly thanks to Callum being out injured.

Hope Wilson can stay fit for a little bit to give Isak a chance to catch up to the different demands in the style of football. He'll be fine.
