I don’t think I’ve seen any other keepers celebrate misses whilst winning 3-0 like they’ve just saved a penalty. It’s just odd.

He's always trying to keep his defenders fired up and engaged with those antics, celebrating any kind of defensive stand.

I think it's fair enough really as they can do with all the encouragement and props to boost them, as they can be prone to lapses.

Ramsdale celebrating the ball flying over the ball there. Weirdo

You lot are just obsessed with hating on Ramsdale for one thing or the other man, my God!

Let the man get hyped up and galvanize his defenders. Why the heck not?!

  3. Hope Arsenal can keep this up. They look fantastic this season.

Playing the best football in the league at the minute.

Shame they didn't have Partey against Man Utd as I think they would have rinsed them.

I’d stick him in Willock’s position

Looked so much better playing there against Atalanta in the pre season.

Think it's a more natural role for him as it is more similar to the attacking midfielder role he played prior to joining us.

Hate him out wide on the right. He's actually pathetic there. It's terrible to watch.

I think its the players outside the first 11 that are the issue.  A few injuries and we are very average

I meant in the current/today's first 11, so yeah, pretty much.

He got into great positions in behind their full back, but for some reason, instead of driving towards the goal, he often stopped and turned it back to a player behind him who was in a much less dangerous area. Absolutely bizarre.

Watching the game back I cannot believe how often this happens.

Noticed Trippier at one point stopped playing him in behind, probably  because he knew Almiron would just turn around and pass it backwards.

  7. Watching the game back again and the number of moves Almiron kills by slowing the game down and passing backwards is unbelievable. He has to be the first person straight out of the team. It's bad enough he can't take a man on in that position but then he never passes forward and is so slow in making decisions. Awful player on that right side.

Was a bit frustrating how little he went looking for the ball considering the lack of service. Thought that was a huge part of his game but he never got going really.

We can't afford to have him doing too much of that as we would have no one in the box that can finish.

Not to mention we had more than enough of the ball in forward areas, and so didn't need him dropping in just for the sake of it.

We do need two new wingers but ASM has played in 35, 25 and 26 PL matches for us. That's almost 29 games per season on average. The three seasons before joining us he played 34, 30 and 34 games in Ligue 1. It's frustrating that he's injured but this feels a bit like re-writing history after a frustrating set of results.

Nah, because when he comes back he takes a while to get back up to speed, and then people are always wondering if he's fit yet.

We can't rely on him to the extent we do right now it's ridiculous. We need to find someone that can seriously challenge him in that position.

  10. Should be played in one of the number 8 roles, which are essentially attacking midfield positions through the middle. He wants to get on the ball and pass and move, which we could do with more of in there, rather than playing Willock there.

Willock in particular today was so poor, literally offers nothing at times

Been saying this for the longest time. In my opinion he's the biggest issue in the team right now.

Almiron has been shocking as well, but it's made infinitely worse by the fact that he has Willock on that same side as him.

If Shelvey was playing deep and Bruno was in that RCM slot, he'd be managing to get Almiron in behind and put him in more dangerous situations.

Can't believe people are calling that "shit". I know for a fact you've all watched season after season of actual shit, and you know pinning a team back like that for 80 minutes isn't it!

    73% possession.

    20 shots (7 on target).

    8 corners.

It's actually a really good performance as far as having enough of the ball in the right areas to win the game. And this is what makes all of this incredibly annoying. There are key players that are letting us down badly in forward areas.

I hope this result causes Howe to shake things up. Even with the current players available, both Almiron and Willock have to go. They are unbelievably poor.

Agree - after watching this performance it's really shone a light on how ASM is our biggest problem. Get rid and let Murphy try and make that spot his own.

No, get someone good enough to keep him out of the team, because he cannot be relied upon to the extent we currently do on him.

Give the man the key to the city. We are extremely poor without his antics pace and just chaos.

Not if the guy can't stay fit though. He's become a pain in the backside as well when it comes to fitness.

Think we need someone to challenge him on that left side. If he's always going to have niggles he can sit on the bench with Wilson tbh.

Sick of the crocks as well.
