My friend this whole thing has been a huge saga, which you've pulled posts from the middle of. It started with Gordon playing on the right in order to get Barnes on the pitch, and keep Miggy and Murphy off it. Gordon then started the season poorly and there were then discussions about whether he was annoyed about having to switch positions with how well he did last year. I then said perhaps they should alternate as they did at Forest, where Barnes actually looked good on the right and combined well with Tino. And in fact maybe we needed to give Barnes a run on the right to determine the best combination to get both performing well. I have no reason to lie about this at all. It's certainly taken the pressure off regarding that position. Think we could potentially look at a talented youngster that won't cost a huge fee, who is good enough to play in the first team when needed, but still has room for growth and won't mind being a rotational option. Someone like that Jonathan Rowe that was at Norwich, that joined Marseille I think it was. If we do that for now then review again at the end of the season that would be good.

As is typically the case, yes.

The good thing is most clubs are now in a position to rinse them if they come in for these players. And spending these massive sums on individual players is not proving to make enough of a difference to justify it. Just positions other clubs to make up ground on them quicker.
