He's one of the few trying to play football man. We don't have to beat them at their own game, i.e. being shite.
I'm really growing to dislike his game.
Very lackadaisical and slow and just so weak physically.
-
Not happy with Willock man. There's something so flimsy about him.
-
Hate the way we're playing, way too many touches. If we move the ball quicker these guys will be out of here.
-
Bring Fernandez on man.
-
Take a fucking normal corner and score.
Stop with the short nonsense please!
Great ball Tripps and great header Wood.
-
Anderson and Willock are pushing forward way too early and leaving us with no passing options, also leaving Longstaff isolated defensively.
-
Murphy should only ever play on the right if ever at all. Looks even worse on the left.
-
That's a fucking ridiculous tackle man.
-
Did Willock just let that run for Wood?
Willock is really annoying me man, just so passive.
-
Imagine taking a fucking quick free kick there when Trippier could have had a crack at goal.

None of this short corners shite.
That was pissing me off before. Just get it in there for goodness sake!
-
Get in Lascelles! Can be relied on for that at least.
-
Why have we brought on Trippier if Manquillo is on the bench. Man, I do not like that.
-
Chris Wood still can't pull off any half decent hold up and link up play against these lot. My God.
-
These lot are actually pitiful. My God.
Anderson showing all of them up.
Willock is such a disgrace man. He should be dominating this game, and as for Murphy man ... completely wretched.

I think we are in for a more defensive midfielder though…
It's interesting we've been linked with both central midfielders that get forward and more defensive ones.
I'm beginning to think we are looking at both types, and looking to get the best midfielder we can get regardless of which of those categories they fall into.
And then depending who that is it will then determine what role Bruno plays.

Can't believe all the chat about the fee.
The only reason we are even able to sign this guy is because last season they were playing that diamond formation and his scoring dipped.
Otherwise we would have had absolutely no chance with the type of clubs that were circling him after the previous season.
Once he comes in and starts playing, there'll be no questioning the fee whatsoever.

Great potential. Can anyone who watched La Liga last season comment why he had a pretty quiet season even though Sociedad did really well?
They switched to a diamond formation last season, and he played as a right sided striker in a front two in that setup, without much width, which was quite different to what he had played previously.
The season before he played mostly as the lone striker in a 4-3-3 setup and banged in 17 league goals.

I can't get over the legs that our team is looking like having here like.
Joelinton, Willock, ASM, Isak, Joao Pedro are all rangey or fast dribblers. Love it.
Building such a big, athletic and pacy side. I love it.

Bruno, Botman and Isak in the space of 8 months is incredible.
Especially for a bunch of people that have no idea how to bid for players and have simply been waiting to see what is left over at the end of the window.

Can he play on the right too or is he an out and out striker?
He can play across the front three.
Wish this could be added to the title because it will keep getting asked.

I agree but the bitternes is tangible despite tryiny to hide it!
Let Froggy have his fun man. It's just a bit of competitive back and forth.
Once the players get on the pitch then we'll see what's up.

Can Isak play as in inside forward, or is he more an out and out striker? Its gonna be weird having multiple options if we sign Pedro and Isak, cover all over that front line
In all honesty I hope Wilson is still fit.
Isak plays wide forward either side too. I would like to see him start on that right side initially.
Sociedad have been playing a diamond formation recently and Isak has been the right sided striker in that setup, which ends up operating very similarly to a wide forward role.
If you think back to when Graeme Jones first came in and had us play in a diamond with Wilson on that right side as a striker, if you recall he would run into that channel and end up on the wing a fair bit, it's a similar setup to that. Isak is far more adept to it though as he has actually played as a wide player and is better with the ball at his feet taking people on.

Poor mans Martial.
We shall see. Looking forward to it.
By the way ... didn't Martial end up costing you lot around £57 million? The deal was £36 million upfront rising to £57 million and the bonuses were very achievable apparently.

Murphy will always find a way to do something wrong. Infuriating person.
