I'm about to pass out here man. Wew! Football!
-
Hayden really using the ball well in that deeper role. Everyone able to show much more of their game now.
Two games in a row I have noticed Hendrick making contributions now. That's not normal.
-
Almiron is going to be a monster in this role. Unbelievable how much he's been misused by Bruce up until now. Criminal.
-
These guys must be working with the ball more in training now. This is crazy how much better we look.
-
Graeme Jones man. We don't look anything like the same team anymore
-
We beat these lot at their place when Bruce was being as disgusting as he has been, and so with the new man in charge we really should win this.
-
Kinda jammy though
But fair play to him. The finish was great.
-
Yep Clark for lascelles, easing ASM back in,his time will come
Cool
Any info on the goings on behind the scenes? Graeme Jones taking the lead on things now?
-
Yeah, he's been saying that for a while so fair play to him.
-
I thought I saw CabbageHead shouting a lot more instructions than I ever did in the past. He Must have been yelling, "Do what Graeme says! Listen to Graeme!"

Yeah, I wasn't sure what to make of the idea that he had just been left there in limbo because he refused to step down, but after reading those comments of his it seems it might well be the case.
Guy doesn't even appear to know we were lined up in a diamond formation, and then infers that we had been setup similarly before this season when we hadn't.
Then you take into account that clip during the game of Jones giving the players instructions with Bruce looking on cluelessly and you really have to wonder what on earth is going on.
This is nuts. I think maybe he has been forced into an awkward position to see if he will step down. It's just too weird.

Assuming the Euros go ahead at some point and based on the current England forwards in the squad, I think Abraham is likely to lose out, in any case pick two from these four ...
Abraham, Calvert-Lewin, Bamford and Wilson.
Antonio and Calvert Lewin
Good shout with Antonio. Think he'll be in with a shout too as he's so versatile.
I should have added Danny Ings to the original list too. England are going to end up with some really decent options upfront.
-
At least Soumare is a younger guy that's still coming up.
Gueye already excelled in the premier league and earned a move to PSG.
Not at all surprised he didn't want to come. Really weird move for us to make IMO.

Vinicius comes on. Was surprised he didn't start. Think he has looked quality whenever I've seen him.

38 points.
Weeeeeee. On my way down to the lads who've still got Dubravka in nets and Jimenez as Captain.
38 is a canny score this week.
Exactly
I'm too ashamed to even mention my total this week on here

So Choudury or Gueye would replace one of our midfielders that play in front of the defensive midfield but behind the attacking midfield ?
Makes no sense because they are both more in the mould of Hayden and are more suited to the defensive midfielder role.
We should be looking for midfielders that can replace Shelvey and Hendrick in the roles they played on Saturday IMO.
If he’s going with ASM, Almiron, Fraser & Wilson with Lewis an attacking full-back, there’s a bit of logic to two sitting midfielders. Schar can still bring it out from CB with Hayden dropping in to cover when he does.
Yeah, that's true. If we're eventually going to change to more of a 4-2-3-1 then it would make more sense for sure.
-
Spurs just don't use the ball well enough in possession and only ever really look threatening on the counter attack.

Choudhury really should just be a backup for Hayden as we don't really have an alternate to Hayden if he should be out. They offer the same kind of things really.

Seen that someone with sense is now running things and so wants to stay.

'Just forget everything you've been told up to now ... '

In which case maybe Jones was a Carr suggestion? Can't see where else it could have come from since I don't believe for one minute Bruce was on board with it.
Someone on here said Ashley had started turning to Carr again for advice and Carr indeed suggested Graeme Jones.

Lewis, Almiron Fraser combination on that move. Geez.
