It's so nice to be returning back to the days where the sick bay was always packed nice and full.

After Leicester sacked Puel their next appointment was so important to get the best out of a group of talented youngsters. 

 

Rodgers has done brilliantly to keep the old guard happy and bringing in new players as well as losing Chilwell and Maguire. Not hugely keen on him as a bloke but he's an excellent manager

He's the manager I'm most impressed by at the moment. He uses a variety of players and tactical systems and the team always looks decent and effective defensively and offensively.

Has dealt with a good number of injuries to key players too, like Pereira, Soyuncu and Ndidi, and has just used it as a chance to bring through some youngsters who he is getting the best out of, with no big drop off for the team.

The likes of Fofana, Thomas and Justin have come to the forefront recently and have been great for them.

Can't wait to see us sit back for 90 mins against Arsenal that will show them.

The only thing I can find in the handball law is the making the body ‘unnaturally bigger’ bit. Which is so subjective that it’s almost impossible to argue.

 

You may as well just have ‘if the referee judges it’s deliberate’. At least then you could have some common sense.

I think anytime the ball is struck against a players arm it just shouldn't be a penalty at all. Only if the player is blatantly trying to stop the ball.

Based on the way they're doing things at the moment though, I think it was a pen.

Walker usually dominates with his power and pace. Mane is right there with him regarding those attributes though, and got the better of him for that pen.

Liverpool have started really well. The movement and pace of that front four looks terrifying.

Klopp going with Mane, Salah, Firmino and Jota. Could cause Man City a lot of headaches.

Think Gomez and Matip are a dodgy pairing at the back for Liverpool but Man City don't have Mahrez, Silva or Foden starting and so that'll be a bit easier for them.

The point is, there are some players in our squad who you think a proper manager could get a tune out of. I don't think any manager is going to make a midfielder out of Hendrick.

Basic Sean Dyche already did it. He's good enough to be a squad player.

Ask the manager why he's being shoe horned into the first team in every position other than the one he is okay at though. Let me know when you find out.

If Bruce by some miracle ever gets canned under MA, it will definitely be Pulis in next.
